<p><b>JOB PURPOSE</b> Perform Aviation Safety tasks at the airside to guarantee compliance with the national and international Aviation safety. Rules and regulations and coordinating airside safety activities. Maintains close communication with supervisors regarding any issues that might reveal a weakness or vulnerable area of airside safety that is discovered in the course of monitoring activities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct daily apron, Manoeuvring area inspection and weekly stakeholders joint inspections and submit activity reports / check-lists All the inspections and audits shall carried out as per established procedure and checklist forms. Conduct monthly data analysis of safety reports Provide reports on any findings or breaches of the Aviation Safety Regulations or procedures for appropriate action and issue violations when necessary; upload the reports to the Airside Operations Reporting System; follow-up with stakeholders as and when necessary. Implement and monitor compliance of the Foreign Object Debris (FOD) program; Assist with preliminary investigation conducted whenever incident or accident is occurred. Ensure that there is appropriate safe site control in relation to vehicle movement and aircraft parking. Carry out spot checks to record the condition of vehicles and equipment and submit a report to Manager - Aerodrome Safety. Monitor ramp activity and the safe operation of flight turn around operations. Provide good quality customer service while at the same time not compromising Aviation Safety; Assist Senior Officer - Aerodrome Safety when conducting investigations, as and when necessary. Attend emergencies when required and coordinate with Airside Operations, ARFFS, and Ministry of Interior for effective management of emergency situation. Follow the instructions provided by Manager - Aerodrome Safety to ensure safe movement of vehicles, equipment, and personnel. Attend when Aircraft Recovery is taking place and assist with the implementation of recovery procedures in liaison with Airside Operations and ATC. Follow the instructions provided by Manager -Aerodrome Safety to ensure safe recovery/removal process. Maintain Aerodrome Safety databases including driving, inspections, violations, accidents, and incidents Monitor during Back-up Runway operation to ensure safe movement of vehicles and personnel on the service road and Aprons. Monitor and issue violation of vehicles/GSE speed, parking and ensure adherence to Airside speed limits and take necessary corrective action in cases of violation. Attend when low visibility procedures are activated to ensure safe operations (vehicle movement and personnel duties) during low visibility conditions; in liaison with Airside Operations and ATC. Carry out regular spot checks of construction sites to ensure that work permits are available and valid and also inspect the area to ensure that the contractor adheres to airside safety requirements. Carry out inspection other area such as airport perimeter fence, Aerodrome open area. Report any safety related observations (i.e. risk of wildlife entry, poor lighting levels, growing vegetation, damage) to Manager - Aerodrome Safety and as and when relevant.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor s degree in Aviation Management, Aviation Safety, Airport Operations, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
