<p>Bank ABC seeks to recruit a Compliance Oversight Testing Officer in the Group Compliance Department based in our Head Office, in Bahrain. The job holder will be responsible for executing Group Compliance Oversight Testing Plan by leading and managing oversight test reviews as well as acting as a subject matter expert for Group testing. The reviews are to assess the effectiveness of existing process controls and validate compliance with AML and regulatory requirements.</p>
<h4>Responsibilities of the role</h4>
<p>The job holder will be responsible to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct oversight testing of key AML and regulatory compliance functions</li>
<li>Maintain schedule of testing activities and communication plan with stakeholders</li>
<li>Liaise with key stakeholders to validate test results</li>
<li>Ensure formal reporting on all oversight testing is conducted</li>
<li>Review results and provide guidance to stakeholders on Group standards and best practices</li>
<li>Follow up on issues in a timely manner and ensure they are tracked and reported at the appropriate level of seniority</li>
<li>Conduct and maintain trend analysis on results of compliance testing for internal reports</li>
<li>Provide subject matter expertise to Group MLROs on oversight testing</li>
<li>Validate business unit test results to ensure testing is conducted in line with Group oversight testing methodology</li>
<li>Prepare compliance testing reports where applicable and present findings to senior management</li>
<li>Enhance relationship with stakeholders (both internal and external)</li>
<li>Keep abreast with local AML and regulatory legislation and with international trends and regulations</li>
<li>Keep abreast with AML regulatory activities and industry developments to identify trends and emerging issues</li>
<li>Assist in the development and revision of the annual compliance testing plan as appropriate</li>
<li>Review and follow up of business unit testing schedules</li>
<li>Assist the Risk Assessment Team in validating the Unit risk ratings, where applicable</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with Operational Risk and Internal Audit to reduce any overlap in testing, where applicable</li>
<li>Maintain an understanding of business operations</li>
<li>Assist with ad-hoc compliance projects</li>
<li>Lead or assist in investigating compliance issues such as regulatory or policy breaches, as needed</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by management</li>
</ul>
<h4>Areas of knowledge, qualification and experience</h4>
<ul>
<li>3-4 years of experience in the financial services industry with a focus on monitoring and testing, preferably with a background in operational risk and/or internal audit. Experience in overseeing projects across multiple jurisdictions</li>
<li>Minimum bachelor's degree (ACAMS, ICA and CIA is a plus)</li>
<li>AML and regulatory compliance work experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of AML/CFT Bahrain laws and regulations</li>
<li>Knowledge of AML/CFT international laws, regulations and international best practices</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge of AML investigation practices, risk management and compliance</li>

<p><h4>Job description</h4>
<p>Bank ABC seeks to recruit an IFRS9 & ECL Reporting Officer in the Group Risk Management Department based in our Head Office, in Bahrain. The primary responsibility of this role involves running the Moodys IFRS9 RCO on several environments/contexts for different units/subsidiaries as applicable.</p>
<p>Regularly maintaining, updating, and monitoring the Expected Credit Loss (ECL) framework, including the calculation rules and engines in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.</p>
<p>The role requires a sound understanding of SQL and related database technologies and a high-level familiarity with statistical tools such as SAS. A strong knowledge of IFRS9 guidelines, Basel guidelines, and credit risk management tools is essential.</p>
<h4>Responsibilities of the role</h4>
<p>Reporting to the Head of IFRS9 & ECL Reporting, the job holder will be responsible for:</p>
<ul>
<li>Generation of IFRS9 ECL provision results on a quarterly basis through the Moodys RCO for both Group and Unit levels using different environments/contexts.</li>
<li>Engaging with all ABC subsidiaries and business units to collect necessary data and ensure that the data provided is accurate by performing periodic checks.</li>
<li>Generating analytical reports related to ECL from Strategic System.</li>
<li>Define and validate the integration of the RCO with other risk management systems.</li>
<li>Preparing and maintaining all internal standards, policies and rules on IFRS9. Active engagement, awareness and monitoring of any proposed or announced policy changes together with preparation for the impact of such changes.</li>
<li>Providing support for other critical strategic risk management initiatives which include Risk MI Dashboard, Stress Testing, ICAAP, portfolio reporting, etc.</li>
<li>Maintaining and monitoring ECL strategic system configuration for any required changes. Engage and perform any necessary UAT for changes in the RCO and assist with efforts to automate the ECL computation where applicable.</li>
<li>Reporting P&L charge to GCC which includes reconciliation between Group Finance & Group Risk. Not limited to reconciliation of Stage 3 accounts with Group RLU.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Areas of knowledge, qualification and experience</h4>

<li>2-5 years' experience in a similar function with a large regional or global financial institution.</li>
<li>A graduate degree with banking & finance background.</li>
<li>High level of data handling skills.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of IFRS9 regulations.</li>
<li>Good knowledge of credit risk measurement techniques such as risk ratings.</li>

<h4>Qualifications</h4>
<p><strong>Education</strong></p>
<p>Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, Human Resources, or a related field.</p>
<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>
<li>Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Government Relations, Public Affairs, PRO services, or a related role in Bahrain.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of Bahraini labor laws, immigration regulations, commercial registration requirements, and government procedures.</li>
<li>Proven experience managing licenses, permits, visas, and regulatory compliance processes.</li>

<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with government officials and stakeholders.</li>

<h4>Job summary</h4>
<p>KBR is seeking a laborer foreman who will support the general foreman in overseeing labor crew operations by providing input to identify key success factors and ensure effective execution of work activities. The role will provide leadership to establish and maintain the organizational structure and processes necessary to deliver labor services in alignment with project objectives. The foreman is responsible for the execution of labor operations, including productivity, quality, subcontractor performance, and cost control.</p>
<p><strong>This will be an onsite position with full-time deployment to NSA Bahrain in Manama, Bahrain.</strong></p>
<h4>Roles and responsibilities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Monitor and evaluate work performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, design specifications, project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.</li>
<li>Communicate project status, issues, risks, and cost impacts to the general foreman and project team, providing recommendations to support decision-making.</li>
<li>Maintain short-term look-ahead plans and proactively address any deviations or challenges.</li>
<li>Review and track cost and man-hour budgets for installation activities and develop equipment requirement plans in coordination with the general foreman.</li>
<li>Promote and enforce adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, fostering a safe and efficient work environment.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Basic qualifications</h4>
<ul>
<li>Must be a US citizen.</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Typically 5+ years of construction or labor experience, with prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety practices, and cost control methods.</li>
<li>Leadership, communication, and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Computer skills, including working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.</li>
<li>Ability to work long hours in support of mission requirements.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.</li>
<li>Experience in contingency environments as well as knowledge and experience working with government contracts.</li>
