The incumbent will provide independent assurance on operational compliance, identify risks, and support the development of corrective and preventive actions to enhance organizational performance and Monitoring:</span></strong></p><ul><li><span >Monitor and assess compliance with applicable national and international aviation regulations, standards, directives, and industry best practices to ensure ongoing organizational compliance.</span></li><li><span >Review regulatory changes, amendments, and new requirements to determine their applicability and potential impact on company operations.</span></li><li><span >Support the Director Quality & Compliance ME in conducting regulatory gap analyses and compliance assessments for new or revised regulatory requirements.</span></li><li><span >Communicate applicable regulatory requirements and compliance obligations to relevant departments and stakeholders.</span></li></ul><p ><strong><span >Audit and Inspections Activities:</span></strong></p><ul><li><span >Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments activities in accordance with the approved Quality Assurance Audit Program.</span></li><li><span >Evaluate the effectiveness of operational processes, management systems, and internal controls against regulatory requirements, company procedures, IOSA Standards, and customer expectations.</span></li><li><span >Verify compliance across Flight Operations, Ground Operations, Engineering & Maintenance, Safety, Security, and contracted service providers.</span></li></ul><p ><strong><span >Compliance Reporting and Corrective Actions:</span></strong></p><ul><li><span >Collect, analyse, and evaluate objective evidence to determine levels of compliance and identify areas of risk or improvement.</span></li><li><span >Prepare comprehensive audit and surveillance reports, including findings, observations, and non-conformities.</span></li><li><span >Monitor, track, and verify corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely and effective closure of audit findings.</span></li><li><span >Conduct follow-up audits and verification activities to confirm the effectiveness and sustainability of corrective actions.</span></li></ul><p ><strong><span >Documentation and Quality System Support:</span></strong></p><ul><li><span >Review company manuals, expositions, procedures, and operational documentation to verify continued alignment with regulatory and organizational requirements.</span></li><li><span >Support the maintenance and continual improvement of the Quality Management System by identifying opportunities to enhance compliance processes and controls.</span></li><li><span >Maintain accurate and complete audit records within approved audit management and reporting systems.</span></li></ul><p ><strong><span >Ground Operations and Service Provider Oversight:</span></strong></p><ul><li><span >Monitor compliance of contracted and self-handled ground operations through audits, inspections, investigations, and surveillance activities.</span></li><li><span >Assess Ground Service Provider (GSP) performance against regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and DHL operational standards.</span></li><li><span >Liaise with Ground Service Providers, vendors, regulatory authorities, and operational stakeholders to support audit and compliance activities.</span></li></ul><p ><strong><span >Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement:</span></strong></p><ul><li><span >Promote a positive Safety, Quality, Security, and Just Culture throughout the organization through effective communication and engagement.</span></li><li><span >Identify emerging compliance risks and opportunities for improvement and provide recommendations to management.</span></li><li><span >Contribute to the continual improvement of operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and quality system performance.</span></li></ul><div><font face="Delivery, sans-serif"><span ><br></span></font></div><p ><strong><span >Your Profile:</span></strong><span ></span></p><ul><li><span >At least 5 years’ work experience in the field of Quality Assurance as a Lead Auditor in an Airline environment. </span></li><li><span >Holder of an Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License, Pilots Licence, Flight Dispatcher Licence, Load Master for at least 10 years, or holder of a degree preferably in Aviation management.</span></li><li><span >Must have strong leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills.</span></li><li><span >Strong analytical competencies.</span></li><li><span >Capable of dealing with many different parties, each with their own interests – negotiation skills are essential for the job holder in obtaining the best solution.</span></li><li><span >Full understanding and knowledge of DHL and third-party airside operations.</span></li><li><span >Has held similar position in an airline or regulatory authority.</span></li><li><span >Successful completion of a Quality System Course, e.g.: Auditor / Lead Auditor Course.</span></li><li><span >Knowledge and experience to undertake Quality Control /Quality Assurance tasks and activities in aircraft maintenance, aircraft airworthiness management, flight operations, Ground Operations, and repair organizations.</span></li><li><span >Knowledge and experience with IQSMS or other Auditing software programs.</span></li><li><span >Excellent planning skills to meet the agreed audit dates and times by planning trips and times accordingly.</span></li><li><span >Must be able to plan and employ a systematic travel and audit plan.</span></li><li><span >Good computer (MS Office), writing and communication skills.</span></li><li><span >Thorough knowledge of International and National Civil Aviation Legislation.</span></li><li><span >Train the Trainer Course.</span></li><li>Fluent in
