About the Role <br> <p><span>The Roaming Products and Services Consultant is accountable for shaping and accelerating the commercial performance of Zain Bahrain's roaming connectivity portfolio, covering Zain Roaming Passes and roaming eSIM products. The role provides strategic and hands-on support across proposition design, pricing, market coverage, digital acquisition, customer journeys, partnerships, performance analytics and go-to-market execution. The Consultant will work closely with Consumer Products and Services, Wholesale, Digital, Technology, CVM, Marcom, Customer Care, Finance and relevant external partners to grow revenue and profitability, improve customer experience and establish a differentiated and scalable travel connectivity proposition.</span></p><br><p>This is a temporary, project-based consultancy position.</p><br> <br> <br><br> What We Need From You <br> <ul><li><p><span>Develop and maintain an integrated strategy and product roadmap for Zain Roaming Passes and eSIM roaming products aligned with consumer priorities and travel trends.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Define clear market positioning, target segments and roles for each proposition, minimizing overlap and maximizing cross-sell across the portfolio.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Own commercial performance reviews covering revenue, gross margin, activations, active users, conversion, repeat purchase, ARPU and customer acquisition cost.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Prepare annual business plans, forecasts, budgets and commercial targets and recommend corrective actions when performance is below plan.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Design and continuously optimize roaming passes and eSIM propositions, including pricing, allowances, validity, destinations, coverage and promotional mechanics.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Conduct competitor, market and international benchmarking across mobile roaming, travel eSIM and digital travel services to identify growth opportunities.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Work with Wholesale Roaming, Finance and partners to assess costs, improve margins and support the optimization of commercial terms.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Develop market-prioritization models based on travel volumes, customer demand, wholesale cost, competitive intensity and revenue potential.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Lead go-to-market planning for launches, enhancements and campaigns, ensuring readiness across communications, channels, systems, support and customer terms.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Develop digital acquisition and conversion plans across the Zain App, websites, paid media, social channels, CRM and other channels.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Design and optimize end-to-end customer journeys, including discovery, purchase, eSIM installation, activation, payment, usage monitoring, renewal and support.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Identify operational and customer pain points and coordinate with Technology, Digital, Customer Care and vendors to resolve them within agreed timelines.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Develop lifecycle and contextual engagement journeys, including pre-travel recommendations, arrival triggers, allowance alerts, renewal, cross-sell and win-back campaigns.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Establish dashboards and recurring performance reports, providing management with actionable insights, risks, opportunities and recommendations.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Analyze product, market and customer cohorts to improve conversion, usage, retention, repeat purchase, revenue and profitability.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Support the development and management of strategic partnerships with airlines, airports, travel platforms, insurers, payment providers and lifestyle partners.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Monitor service performance and key operational KPIs, including provisioning, payment success, activation success, service availability, complaints and SLA adherence.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Ensure products, campaigns and customer communications comply with regulatory, legal, data privacy, fraud-control and internal governance requirements.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Transfer knowledge, document processes and provide guidance to internal teams, while performing other related assignments requested by Senior Management.</span></p><br></li></ul> <br> <br><br> Education and Experience <br> <ul><li><p><span>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Telecommunications, Finance, Economics or a relevant field. The first cluster brings together <strong>Economic Prosperity and Environmental Sustainability; and environmental sustainability and governance, human rights, access to justice, and social inclusion. </strong></p><br> <p>The second cluster focuses on <strong>governance, human rights, access to justice, and social inclusion</strong>, encompassing rule of law, public sector effectiveness, civic engagement, gender equality, and protection of vulnerable groups. This cluster supports national institutions in strengthening accountability, service delivery, and compliance with international human rights standards, while promoting inclusive participation and social cohesion.</p><br> <p>This <strong>two-cluster delivery model</strong> enables the Country Office to manage complexity, promote synergies across CPD pillars, and apply a portfolio approach to programme design, implementation, and partnerships. Staff are therefore expected to work across thematic boundaries, contribute to integrated solutions, and support joint programming within the UN system, while ensuring results-based management, quality assurance, and alignment with national and UNSDCF priorities.</p><br> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><br> <p><strong><u>Summary of key functions </u></strong></p><br> <p>Under the overall guidance of Program Analyst (<strong>governance, human rights, access to justice, and social inclusion cluster)</strong>, the National Project Coordinatorwill:</p><br> <ul> <li>Ensuring effective project management of the assigned project by maintaining the delivery of appropriate technical, operational, financial and administrative outputs, while tracking the project progress by monitoring, evaluation and reporting;</li> <li>Provide advisory support on climate resilience and river basin management issues to the Government and other partners;</li> <li>Build the strategic partnerships needed to achieve results;</li> <li>Align the project with UN values and UNDP priorities; <p><b>More About the Role:</b><br>The Defense Group of Leidos has an exciting opportunity for an IT Specialist to support efforts for the OCONUS Piers support portion of the NGEN-R Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract located in Bahrain.</p><br><p>NGEN-R SMIT is the largest IT services program for the Navy. Leidos supports SMIT by delivering the OCONUS Piers support to connect vessels to shore based networks while in port, and supports the OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network (OCONUS NEN). Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network. As SMIT OCONUS services converge, this position may be responsible for additional Field Services Support tasks on NEN OCONUS.</p><br><p>Responsible for maintaining fiber optic cables in support of the OCONUS Piers program in the Middle East region. This includes providing connect/disconnect services to the vessels when arriving and departing from port. Candidates will be expected to respond to requests to provide connect/disconnect services within the required service target as well as the testing, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of Navy Umbilical Cable Assemblies (UCAs). Document daily shift activities in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure proper pass down of any outstanding issues. This position may require the candidate to travel to other regional locations to repair UCA cables.</p><br><p><b>What You'll Get to Do:</b><br>The qualified candidate will provide connect/disconnect service to all vessels arriving or departing from their assigned location. <span><br>POSITION SUMMARY<br>Answer phone calls and record messages. Create and maintain filing systems. File and maintain applicant interview documentation and records. File, track, and process employment applications. Create and type office correspondence using a computer. Audit and coordinate distribution of paychecks. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>Operator (Dry bulk) Execution of chartering contracts, which include voyage/TC contracts. Ensuring that the voyages are performed in compliance with the relevant contracts with due consideration to the commercial strategy. To be responsible for maximizing profit for each voyage. Responsible for following up on post fixture activities and day-to-day execution Monitoring of vessel movements for executing of activities including bunker planning, appointment & coordination with agents and obtaining necessary documentations. Responsible for the preparation, negotiation, and finalization of laytime calculations. To always think out of the box to maximize Dispatch and minimize the demurrage. Handling of voyage accounts for the ships including hire payments, freight payments, SOA and settlement of final voyage account with ship owner. Appointing agents, negotiating proforma D/A and reviewing/settling the final D/A documents. Coordinating with the Legal and Insurance team to minimize risk and exposure. Ensuring that disputes and claims are settled in a timely and efficient manner. Coordinating with account and commercial department on payments, BL collection, tallying of financial statement and following up of outstanding account with relevant parties. Liaise with various parties like ship master, ship brokers, bunker trader, port agents, marine surveyor and other service providers on day-to-day operation matters to ensure all voyages are running smoothly. Ensure compliance to relevant maritime laws, industry standards and insurance matters where appropriate. Working as operations PIC to update vessels ocean and port schedules, solution providing to minimize delays / optimize smooth voyage performance. Monitor vessel performance, analyze date and give regular feedback to Management. Review the stowage plans prepared by the master, study vessel s description and end up with conclusions to maximize cargo intake. Drawing and finalizing charter parties. To assist the chartering and operation manager as required. Any other duties that might be assigned by the management</p></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Bachelors' Degree from a recognized university. Min two years of experience in dry bulk shipping industry with exposure to CP Terms negotiation and Laytime (Dry Bulk), as well as Bills of Lading and other shipping documentation. Self-motivated and enthusiastic with strong analytical and calculation skills. Self-driven with strong willingness to learn, result oriented, with a positive outlook, and imagination to bring new ideas and solutions to the table. Fast learner and able to work under pressure. Has integrity when dealing with confidential matters. Ability to negotiate with our business partners. An ability to develop relationships with dry bulk counter parties, including owners, charterers, operators, charterers and brokers. Team player with strong work ethics and excellent communication & organizational skills.</p><p></p></section>
