Join us.</p><br><br>Job Description<br><p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor - MEP to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. In this role, you will be responsible for managing costs, preparing comprehensive bills of quantities, and ensuring efficient project delivery for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. <span>Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor Division: Nass MEP Location: Bahrain Role Summary The Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all commercial and contractual aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works across multiple construction projects.<br> The role ensures accurate quantity take-offs, preparation of valuations, variation claims, cost control, subcontractor management, and commercial reporting while supporting the successful financial delivery of projects.<br> The incumbent will work closely with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to maximize project profitability and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.<br> Key Responsibilities Prepare, evaluate, and submit monthly interim valuations and supporting documentation in accordance with contract requirements.<br> Carry out detailed quantity take-offs for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works from drawings and project specifications.<br> Prepare, submit, negotiate, and finalize variation claims, ensuring proper documentation and timely approval.<br> Attend commercial meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss, negotiate, and close valuations, variations, and commercial matters.<br> Assess, review, and certify subcontractor valuations, variation claims, and payment applications in a timely manner.<br> Maintain and update commercial logs, including valuation registers, variation logs, bonds, guarantees, payment records, and contractual correspondence.<br> Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.<br> Coordinate with site and procurement teams to support material purchasing, subcontractor engagement, and resource planning.<br> Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports, including manpower, equipment, and material cost forecasts.<br> Support contract administration, including claims management, extension of time submissions, and dispute resolution.<br> Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company procedures, and commercial best practices.<br> Identify opportunities for cost savings, value engineering, and process improvements throughout the project lifecycle.<br> Maintain accurate commercial documentation and support project audits and final account settlements.<br> Manage multiple MEP projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.<br> Qualifications, Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.<br> Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with significant experience in MEP works for large-scale building or infrastructure projects.<br> Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction methodologies, quantity measurement, and cost management.<br> Proven experience in preparing valuations, variation claims, final accounts, and subcontractor commercial management.<br> Sound understanding of construction contracts, including FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.<br> Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity surveying software; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.<br> Excellent analytical, numerical, negotiation, and commercial management skills.<br> Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.<br> Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.<br> High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills.<br> Knowledge of cost forecasting, budgeting, procurement processes, and contract administration.<br> Professional membership with RICS, AIQS, or equivalent is considered an advantage</span> </div>

<span>Construction Project Manager – Marine Division: Nass Contracting Location: Bahrain Role Summary The Construction Project Manager – Marine is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering marine construction projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.<br> The role oversees all phases of project execution, including planning, procurement, resource management, construction activities, stakeholder coordination, and project close-out.<br> The Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure successful project delivery.<br> Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of marine construction projects in accordance with contractual, technical, and commercial requirements.<br> Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and cash flow forecasts.<br> Coordinate marine construction activities, including marine infrastructure, quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, dredging, reclamation, marine piling, and offshore civil works.<br> Ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, local regulations, and international marine construction best practices.<br> Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays, cost overruns, and operational challenges.<br> Lead project teams, including engineers, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and subcontractors, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment.<br> Coordinate procurement activities and ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, marine vessels, and subcontractor resources.<br> Review and approve project methodologies, work plans, method statements, and construction sequences.<br> Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.<br> Manage client communications, consultant coordination, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.<br> Administer contracts, evaluate variations, manage claims, and support commercial negotiations.<br> Identify opportunities for value engineering and continuous process improvement.<br> Conduct regular project review meetings and ensure timely resolution of technical and operational issues.<br> Oversee project commissioning, handover, documentation, and successful project close-out.<br> Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.<br> Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years managing marine infrastructure projects.<br> Proven experience delivering projects such as ports, harbors, marine piling, dredging, reclamation, or offshore civil works.<br> Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction methodologies, contract administration, and cost control.<br> Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.<br> Strong commercial awareness with experience in budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and claims management.<br> Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.<br> Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.<br> Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are considered an advantage.<br></span> </div>
