<ul> <li> <p>Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries to ensure items received match purchase orders, approved specifications, quantities, and quality standards.</p> </li> <li> <p>Store food, beverages, consumables, amenities, chemicals, uniforms, and operational supplies in designated locations while maintaining proper storage and handling practices.</p> </li> <li> <p>Monitor stock levels and maintain adequate inventory to support lounge operations and prevent stock shortages or overstocking.</p> </li> <li> <p>Issue materials and supplies to lounge personnel in accordance with established procedures and operational requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p>Apply stock rotation principles, including First-In-First-Out (FIFO), to minimize wastage and ensure product freshness and shelf-life compliance.</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain a clean, organized, and secure storeroom environment in accordance with health, safety, hygiene, and food handling requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p>Conduct regular stock counts and inventory checks, investigate discrepancies, and update inventory records accordingly.</p> </li> <li> <p>Record inventory transactions accurately using the Materials Management System (MMS) or other approved inventory management systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Identify stock replenishment requirements and prepare purchase requisitions based on usage patterns, stock levels, and operational forecasts.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support the procurement process by obtaining supplier quotations and comparing prices, quality, and delivery terms to facilitate cost-effective purchasing decisions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Prepare purchase orders following established approval procedures and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.</p> </li> <li> <p>Monitor outstanding purchase orders and follow up with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, shortages, replacements, or pending items.</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain and update supplier information, procurement records, delivery notes, invoices, and related documentation in an organized manner.</p> </li> <li> <p>Verify that all purchases and procurement activities are appropriately authorized before commitments are made to suppliers.</p> </li> <li> <p>Assist in managing damaged, expired, or non-conforming items and coordinate returns or replacements with suppliers where required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Coordinate the receipt, storage, and issuance of operational equipment, chinaware, cutlery, glassware, and other lounge assets as required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Support internal and external audits by providing inventory records, stock reports, and supporting documentation.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, quality, and company policies applicable to lounge storage and inventory operations.</p> </li> <li> <p>Generate periodic inventory and stock movement reports for management review.</p> </li> <li> <p>Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Manager Lounge to support the efficient operation of the Pearl Lounge.</p> </li> </ul>

<h4>The opportunity</h4>
<p>EY is looking for senior auditors to support our Bahrain audit team and help our clients meet their requirements by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing meaningful insights into accounting and reporting matters.</p>
<h4>Your key responsibilities</h4>
<p>As a member of the audit team you will participate in audit engagements, working effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress. You will also help prepare for meetings with target management teams, participate in these meetings, assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties, and develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.</p>
<p>Actively establishing internal and external relationships, and identifying and escalating potential business opportunities for EY will be essential, as well as contributing to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining assurance professionals. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you'll escalate issues as appropriate. You'll confirm that the work delivered to clients is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.</p>

<p>KBR provides contingency base operations, stabilization, and infrastructure support services under Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain, UAE, Oman, and related task orders.</p>
<h4>Job summary</h4>
<p>KBR is seeking a quality manager who will lead and manage the organization’s quality assurance function to ensure products, services, and processes meet established standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines. The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving quality management systems (QMS) to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The quality manager will oversee quality planning, inspection, testing, and auditing activities to verify compliance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements. They will establish quality policies, procedures, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as ISO 9001 and company objectives. The manager will additionally provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to quality teams, ensuring effective execution of quality processes and continuous professional development.</p>
<p><strong>This will be an onsite position with full-time deployment to NSA Bahrain in Manama, Bahrain.</strong></p>
<h4>Roles and responsibilities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).</li>
<li>Analyze quality data and performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.</li>
<li>Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action initiatives to address non-conformances and enhance product reliability and process efficiency.</li>
<li>Ensure successful completion of internal and external audits and promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and compliance.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, operations, procurement, and HSE—to embed quality throughout the project lifecycle.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies on quality-related matters.</li>
<li>Analyze quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.</li>
<li>Manage and mentor quality assurance personnel.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Basic qualifications</h4>
<ul>
<li>Must be a US citizen.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.</li>
<li>Typically 8-12+ years of relevant experience in quality assurance/quality management.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and auditing practices.</li>
<li>Experience with quality tools (e.g., RCA, Six Sigma, statistical analysis).</li>
<li>Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li>
