About Mantis Collection

Mantis is a boutique hospitality group that was founded by conservationist Adrian Gardiner in 2000, with its main focus predominantly in Africa and the Middle East. Mantis grew from Adrian’s vision to restore and rewild degraded farmland which he developed into a widely-acclaimed private game reserve. This was the first private game reserve in the Eastern Cape and the beginning of eco-tourism in a poverty-stricken province that had few opportunities outside of commercial farming. Adrian and the Mantis team successfully created a place where man and nature could co-exist sustainably. From this initial success, the Mantis model was then developed worldwide, understanding that consumers could use the Mantis portfolio as a mark of quality, consistency and character. Today the diverse portfolio of handpicked properties links up to create travel journeys, which offer guests the opportunity to experience the essence of the location in a setting of tailored luxury. Rooted in conservation, Mantis pursues sustainable business practices and develops tourism products that are respectful of the environment and communities in which they operate.

About the role

Pavago is hiring an inbound marketer to help build scalable, inbound-driven marketing systems for fast-growing companies.

This role goes far beyond traditional SEO. We’re looking for someone who understands how content, search, distribution, conversion, and buyer psychology work together to drive real business growth.

You’ll be responsible for creating high-quality inbound content, improving search visibility, building lead magnets, optimizing conversion paths, and distributing content across the right channels to generate awareness, demand, and qualified leads.

This is a hands-on execution role for someone who can think strategically while consistently shipping strong inbound assets that produce measurable outcomes — not vanity metrics.

The ideal candidate is an excellent writer, understands modern SEO and AI-driven search behavior, and knows how to turn content into pipeline.

What you’ll own

Content creation & SEO optimization

Create high-quality, value-driven inbound content that educates, informs, and builds authority

Write SEO-optimized blogs, landing pages, website copy, and inbound marketing assets

Develop content aligned with search intent, funnel stage, and conversion goals

Optimize content for both traditional search engines and AI-driven search experiences (LLMs, AI summaries, featured answers)

Continuously improve existing content based on performance and ranking opportunities

Inbound marketing execution

Execute inbound marketing initiatives across SEO, content marketing, lead magnets, social distribution, and website conversion flows

Support content distribution across LinkedIn, X, newsletters, and other relevant channels

Build inbound systems that connect content, engagement, and conversion

Collaborate on website and landing page optimization initiatives

Lead magnets & conversion assets

Develop guides, playbooks, checklists, and gated resources designed to capture demand

Write conversion-focused copy for CTAs, landing pages, thank-you pages, and nurture flows

Improve conversion rates through stronger messaging and inbound positioning

Support inbound funnel optimization and lead generation initiatives

Research & content strategy

Conduct deep research on industries, competitors, buyer pain points, and search opportunities

Identify content gaps and inbound growth opportunities across the funnel

Develop strong content angles and positioning based on market insights

Stay current on SEO, AI-search, inbound marketing, and content distribution trends

Analytics & performance optimization

Monitor content and inbound performance using GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and related tools

Analyze engagement, rankings, conversions, and traffic behavior

Optimize campaigns and content based on measurable outcomes and conversion data

Report insights and recommendations to improve inbound performance

What makes you a great fit

You understand that inbound marketing is about creating demand — not just publishing content

You can create content that is genuinely valuable, insightful, and conversion-focused

You understand SEO, AI-driven search behavior, and modern inbound funnels

You think strategically while remaining highly execution-oriented

You are analytical, curious, and continuously improving based on data

You are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple content initiatives simultaneously

Required experience & skills

Strong research and analytical skills

Portfolio showcasing inbound or SEO-driven content work

Preferred experience

Agency or B2B marketing experience

Experience building and promoting lead magnets

Familiarity with LinkedIn and social content distribution strategies

Understanding of AI-search optimization and evolving search behavior

Experience improving website conversion rates and inbound lead generation

What a typical day looks like

Review SEO and content performance data to improve results

Collaborate with marketing and strategy teams on inbound campaigns

Continuously refine inbound funnels and content distribution strategies

In short: you build inbound systems that turn content, search, and distribution into qualified pipeline and measurable business growth.

Key metrics for success (KPIs)

Growth in organic traffic and qualified inbound leads

Improved keyword rankings and search visibility
