<h4>This purpose of this Principal Account Executive is:</h4>
<p>Markets ACI products and services to current and potential customers within a defined territory and/or industry and manages ACI's overall relationship with established accounts. Develops strategy and manages the process of bringing the identified marketing opportunities to a logical close. Assists distributors in their efforts to sell ACI products and services where appropriate. Keeps current on ACI products/enhancements, competition, and industry trends. Maintains account and territory records, updates management on account activity, and provides forecast data as requested.</p>
<h4>A typical day at ACI for a Principal Account Executive is:</h4>
<p>Identifies opportunities to market ACI products and services to current and prospective customers in the assigned territory. Develops strategy and manages the process of bringing the identified marketing opportunities to a logical close, consistent with ACI's sales best practices. Manages ACI's overall relationship with current and prospective customers, with emphasis on developing and maintaining effective relationships with key executives. Customer satisfaction and loyalty are key requirements and measurements. Manages all administrative aspects of the assignment including but not limited to account profiles, sales pipeline records, current and prospective customer org charts, etc., consistent with ACI's sales best practices. <h4>Knowledge, skills, and experience required for the job:</h4>

<li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>12 years of successful direct sales experience in industries targeted by ACI (financial institutions, processors, merchants, etc.), preferably selling payments solutions.</li>
<li>Must have a combined minimum of 5 years in either the payments, e-commerce, or mobile payments industries.</li>
<li>Must have a successful sales record.</li>
<li>Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.</li>

The role ensures accurate quantity take-offs, preparation of valuations, variation claims, cost control, subcontractor management, and commercial reporting while supporting the successful financial delivery of projects. The incumbent will work closely with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to maximize project profitability and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.</p>
<h4>Key responsibilities</h4>
<li>Prepare, evaluate, and submit monthly interim valuations and supporting documentation in accordance with contract requirements.</li>
<li>Carry out detailed quantity take-offs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works from drawings and project specifications.</li>
<li>Prepare, submit, negotiate, and finalize variation claims, ensuring proper documentation and timely approval.</li>
<li>Attend commercial meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss, negotiate, and close valuations, variations, and commercial matters.</li>
<li>Assess, review, and certify subcontractor valuations, variation claims, and payment applications in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Maintain and update commercial logs, including valuation registers, variation logs, bonds, guarantees, payment records, and contractual correspondence.</li>
<li>Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.</li>
<li>Coordinate with site and procurement teams to support material purchasing, subcontractor engagement, and resource planning.</li>
<li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports, including manpower, equipment, and material cost forecasts.</li>
<li>Support contract administration, including claims management, extension of time submissions, and dispute resolution.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company procedures, and commercial best practices.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities for cost savings, value engineering, and process improvements throughout the project lifecycle.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate commercial documentation and support project audits and final account settlements.</li>
<li>Manage multiple MEP projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.</li>
<h4>Qualifications, skills & experience</h4>
<li>Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.</li>
<li>Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, with significant experience in MEP works for large-scale building or infrastructure projects.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction methodologies, quantity measurement, and cost management.</li>
<li>Proven experience in preparing valuations, variation claims, final accounts, and subcontractor commercial management.</li>
<li>Sound understanding of construction contracts, including FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.</li>
<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity surveying software; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical, numerical, negotiation, and commercial management skills.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.</li>
<li>High level of attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills.</li>
<li>Knowledge of cost forecasting, budgeting, procurement processes, and contract administration.</li>
<li>Professional membership with RICS, AIQS, or equivalent is considered an advantage.</li></p><p></p>
