<p>KBR is seeking an experienced civil engineer with a passion for designing and implementing infrastructure solutions that support critical missions for our customers. You are skilled in applying engineering best practices to complex challenges, ensuring every structure meets rigorous safety and operational standards.</p>
<h4>Roles and responsibilities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Studies, designs, specs, and services transportation systems (i.e., road, rail, airport, seaport), bridges, infrastructure, drainage, underground utilities, hydrology/hydraulics, water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, water resources and raw water supply, tunnels, geotechnical design, and other civil engineering works.</li>
<li>Provides engineering services including performing field investigations and inspections, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations, design and development of statements of work (SOWs), plans and specifications, as well as writing, preparation, and review of engineering reports.</li>
<li>Reviews drawings and provides construction support to assure compliance with plans and specifications. Researches and resolves design and construction problems.</li>
<li>Applies sound engineering principles, communicating complex engineering issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams.</li>
<li>Functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far-reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities.</li>
<li>Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies.</li>
<li>Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area.</li>
<li>Oversees and supports a multidisciplinary Damage Assessment Team (DAT) consisting of licensed trades (plumber, electrician, HVAC technician, etc.).</li>
<li>Oversees facility inspections and assessments being performed by KBR and subcontractors.</li>
<li>Conducts technical evaluations of vendor quotations.</li>
<li>Is responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with U.S. military standards, applicable codes, and contract requirements.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Basic qualifications</h4>
<ul>
<li>Must be a US citizen.</li>
<li>Must have an active US Secret security clearance.</li>
<li>Must have a minimum of a BA/BS degree in civil engineering.</li>
<li>Minimum 10 years of civil engineering work experience.</li>
<li>Professional Engineer (PE) license issued by a US state in civil engineering.</li>
<li>Experience supporting public works or US Government facility projects.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Preferred qualifications</h4>
<ul>
<li>Experience supporting DoS/DoD-related programs, international programs, or field-based monitoring contracts.</li>
<li>Familiarity with digital data collection tools and field-based inspection/monitoring methodologies.</li>
<li>Experience building dashboards, visualizations, and performance reporting packages for customers and leadership.</li>

<span><br>POSITION SUMMARY<br>Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps. Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard. Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts. Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in load. Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load. Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine. Maintain accurate records of items laundered.<br>Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
