<p>Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical components including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guestroom items. Program TVs and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties. Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work. Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping as well as external landscaping sprinklers. Display basic computer skills including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.</p>
<p>Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. <p><b>Key accountabilities</b>: Contribute to the development of the Risk-Based Internal Audit Plan, ensuring alignment with the CBB strategic goals, risk profile, global internal auditing standards and best practices. Oversee the execution of the Internal Audit Plan by the General Audit team, ensuring timely and effective delivery of audit engagements. Manage the development and implementation of internal audit policies and procedures to establish clear, standardized guidelines for conducting audits across the CBB. Implement recommendations from external assessments under the Quality Assurance and Improvement Program. Ensure adherence to professional standards in audit planning, execution, and documentation of evidentiary data. Oversee follow-up on agreed audit recommendations and action plans to ensure timely and effective implementation and assist in preparing periodic status reports on internal and external (non-IT) audit recommendations. Review internal audit reports and supporting documentation prepared by the General Section and submit them to the Chief Internal Auditor. Participate in discussions of draft audit reports with relevant management to ensure clarity and consensus. Ensure timely execution of general (non-IT) audits assigned as per the approved Internal Audit plan. Assist in executing ad-hoc audits assigned by the Board, relevant Board committee, or H.E. the Governor. Liaise with external parties including auditors on matters related to professional audit standards, as requested by the Chief Internal Auditor. Provide consultation on systems, operations, and process controls to support the CBB s objectives, in consultation with the Chief Internal Auditor. Perform general audits as directed by the Chief Internal Auditor. Support the Chief Internal Auditor in executing the functions of the Internal Audit Unit, as requested. Provide leadership and direction to subordinates to support the achievement of departmental goals and objectives. Guide, motivate, and support team members to enhance performance, ensure high-quality output, and promote continuous professional development for future leadership roles. Discuss performance evaluations and appraisal reports for direct reports with Chief Internal Auditor to assess productivity, track progress, and identify training and development needs. Ensure team members remain informed about organizational changes and developments within the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB).</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Minimum Qualification: Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, or its equivalent. Professional accounting or internal audit qualifications such as ACCA/CIA/CPA. Minimum Experience: 7+ years of experience, with at least 5 years experience in a similar role preferably in the financial services sector or with a Big4 firm. 5+ years of working experience in Bahrain, with appropriate familiarity with the local market and its regulations.</p>

<span>Role Summary The Senior QA/QC Engineer is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective implementation of quality control processes across the project.<br> The role provides technical guidance on material usage, testing, inspections, documentation, and compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and company quality procedures.<br> The position works closely with the Project Manager, Site QA/QC Manager, consultants, client representatives, subcontractors, suppliers, and testing agencies to identify and resolve quality issues and ensure that project works meet the required standards.<br> Key Responsibilities Review and verify inspection, testing, and trial procedures to ensure the correct methodologies are followed and results are accurately recorded.<br> Analyze quality and technical data, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with consultants and client representatives on issues affecting project requirements or performance.<br> Communicate inspection and testing results clearly to relevant project stakeholders and promptly escalate adverse or non-conforming results to the Project Manager.<br> Identify and stop work that does not comply with approved quality procedures, project specifications, or recognized industry standards.<br> Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including non-conformance records, liability exemption forms, inspection records, test reports, and project close-out documentation.<br> Ensure all testing and diagnostic equipment is properly used, maintained, stored, and calibrated, and maintain an accurate equipment register.<br> Coordinate QA/QC activities with the Site QA/QC Manager, procurement team, site execution teams, consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and testing agencies.<br> Monitor quality performance using statistical quality control methods and provide reports and recommendations to support continuous improvement.<br> Maintain and update as-built drawings on a monthly basis, ensuring they accurately reflect site progress, and coordinate with subcontractors to maintain the required level of documentation.<br> Conduct pre-job quality briefings with site execution teams for approved method statements to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.<br> Supervise and provide guidance to Site Engineers, QA/QC Inspectors, and Document Controllers in relation to quality requirements and project documentation.<br> Ensure quality activities and documentation comply with contract requirements, company standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.<br> Support the QA/QC Manager and Project Management team with quality-related assignments and reporting as required.<br> Qualifications, Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering .<br> Minimum 7 years of experience in QA/QC within the construction industry, preferably on major civil engineering projects.<br> Relevant GCC experience is preferred.<br> Eligible for CRPEP registration .<br> Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection and testing requirements, construction standards, and project specifications.<br> Experience in reviewing test results, analyzing technical data, and identifying quality deviations or non-conformities.<br> Good understanding of construction documentation, quality records, method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and as-built documentation.<br> Knowledge of temporary works is an advantage.<br> Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.<br> Ability to collect, analyze, and report statistical quality data.<br> Good database management and reporting skills.<br> Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.<br> Ability to work independently, make day-to-day quality-related decisions, and effectively supervise QA/QC personnel.<br> Proficient in relevant MS Office and quality/document management systems.<br> Willingness to work predominantly on site and collaborate closely with construction and project teams.<br></span> </div>
