Work Location<br>UNIC Manama, Hybrid (in-person or remote), up to 34 hours per week<br> Expected duration<br>3 to 6 months maximum<br> Duties and Responsibilities<br>This position is located in the United Nations Information Centre in Manama (UNIC Manama), within the Information Centres Service (ICS), Department of Global Communications. UNIC Manama is the principal source of information about the United Nations system in Bahrain; it provides strategic communications services to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. It is responsible for promoting public understanding and support for the aims and activities of the United Nations by communicating the work of the UN to a local audience in local languages; engaging local and regional partners; and, overall, bringing the United Nations closer to the peoples it serves. The incumbent is under the direct supervision of the Director, UNIC Manama. The internship is for three (3) months up to a maximum of six (6) months depending on the availability of the intern and needs of the department. The internship is designed to be up to 34 hours per week with a hybrid work arrangement (remote or in-person). Responsibilities will depend on the individual's background, the intern's assigned office, as well as the internship period. Duties may include, but are not limited to: - Assist in content creation for the UNIC's online platforms, including social media accounts. - Assist in monitoring and moderating the UNIC's online platforms, including social media and in implementing social media campaigns. - Assist in the design, production, and dissemination of information material. - Assist in the organization of events and meetings. - Assist in preparing media monitoring reports. - Assist in translation support.<br> Qualifications/special skills<br>To qualify for an internship with the United Nations Information Centre, the following conditions must be met: (a) Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or (b) Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent); - Be computer literate in standard software applications; - Have a demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter; - Have a demonstrated ability to successfully interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs, which include willingness to try and understand and be tolerant of differing opinions and views. <p>Deliver a full range of tax advisory services in compliance with local laws and regulations. Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise. Provide innovative tax planning and review complex tax returns. Identify risks, manage tax exposures, and mitigate tax risks by providing tax planning, structuring, and highlighting tax implications. Manage tax provision and tax compliance processes. Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices. Manage and coordinate tax audits. Inform management of changes in the tax environment, as well as the ramifications of tax legislation changes. Manage and lead the tax advisory team.</p>

<p>Manages the tasks related to controlling data-entry, data-analysis, card-printing/processing information to ensure that the quality standards set by the clients are closely met, in terms of accuracy and turn-around time.</p>

<li>Manages inclusion/changes of pricelists, medical networks to the client scheme and database system.</li>
<li>Manages communication with the payers for prices clarification also with rest of internal stakeholders (claims, pre-cert, etc.) and any further medical inquiries.</li>
<li>Maintains high quality outputs of pricelists and network updates as communicated from the payer to satisfy clients' preset standard of service and avoid any claims' leakage.</li>
<li>Issues periodic or daily report on performance.</li>
<li>Meets further complex requirements, such as new enhancements.</li>
<li>Keeps accurate records on the various activities for internal and external review.</li>

The C2 Systems Analyst serves as the subject matter expert (SME) to enable C4I systems throughout the DoD to share information to build a common operational picture (COP) and common tactical picture (CTP) to enable leaders to make accurate and informed decisions based on situational awareness.</p>
