<span>Construction Project Manager – Marine Division: Nass Contracting Location: Bahrain Role Summary The Construction Project Manager – Marine is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering marine construction projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.<br> The role oversees all phases of project execution, including planning, procurement, resource management, construction activities, stakeholder coordination, and project close-out.<br> The Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure successful project delivery.<br> Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of marine construction projects in accordance with contractual, technical, and commercial requirements.<br> Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and cash flow forecasts.<br> Coordinate marine construction activities, including marine infrastructure, quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, dredging, reclamation, marine piling, and offshore civil works.<br> Ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, local regulations, and international marine construction best practices.<br> Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays, cost overruns, and operational challenges.<br> Lead project teams, including engineers, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and subcontractors, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment.<br> Coordinate procurement activities and ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, marine vessels, and subcontractor resources.<br> Review and approve project methodologies, work plans, method statements, and construction sequences.<br> Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.<br> Manage client communications, consultant coordination, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.<br> Administer contracts, evaluate variations, manage claims, and support commercial negotiations.<br> Identify opportunities for value engineering and continuous process improvement.<br> Conduct regular project review meetings and ensure timely resolution of technical and operational issues.<br> Oversee project commissioning, handover, documentation, and successful project close-out.<br> Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.<br> Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years managing marine infrastructure projects.<br> Proven experience delivering projects such as ports, harbors, marine piling, dredging, reclamation, or offshore civil works.<br> Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction methodologies, contract administration, and cost control.<br> Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.<br> Strong commercial awareness with experience in budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and claims management.<br> Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.<br> Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.<br> Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are considered an advantage.<br></span> </div>
<p><h4>Job summary</h4>
<p>The director of recreation runs all aspects of the indoor and outdoor recreation, which includes beach and services, pools and services, marina and water sports, and the operations on the private island. Reports to the hotel manager, ensures the smooth running of the entire sports and recreation department. He/she will take full responsibility for ensuring that the highest standards are met. This will include training the recreation team, weekly KRAs with key team members, departmental meetings, and daily hotel meetings. The director of recreation is also responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the area, which is to be directly reported to and followed up with engineering and outside contractors when needed. The director of recreation will implement new company strategies and will advise on enhancements and CAPEX. He/she will organize events for members including themed parties, sporting events such as tennis tournaments, squash tournaments, swimming races, and biathlons. The director of recreation is also responsible for overlooking all activities under the Ritz Kids program.</p>

Must have a minimum of 5 years spent in the recreation department and a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role with The Ritz-Carlton or another hotel company.</p>

<p>JOB PURPOSE To support the continued airworthiness of Gulf Air's fleet by conducting aircraft records reviews, monitoring airworthiness compliance, evaluating maintenance and technical documentation, supporting airworthiness reviews, and ensuring adherence to BCAA regulations, approved maintenance programmes, and company continuing airworthiness management procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Airworthiness Review & Compliance Assist in conducting aircraft airworthiness record reviews in accordance with applicable BCAA Air Navigation Technical Regulations, approved maintenance programmes, and Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) requirements. Support the Airworthiness Duty Manager in the accomplishment of annual airworthiness reviews and preparation of documentation required for Certificate of Airworthiness renewal recommendations. Review aircraft maintenance records to verify compliance with mandatory airworthiness requirements, maintenance programme tasks, life-limited component controls, and continuing airworthiness directives. Participate in aircraft physical inspections and surveys as part of the airworthiness review process when required. Monitor the validity and completeness of airworthiness records and identify discrepancies requiring corrective action. Exercise independent technical judgement during airworthiness reviews and provide objective recommendations regarding the continued airworthiness status of aircraft. Continuing Airworthiness Monitoring Review the implementation status of Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Mandatory Service Bulletins, and other regulatory requirements to ensure continued compliance. Monitor aircraft maintenance programme effectiveness and report any airworthiness concerns or recommendations for improvement. Verify the accuracy and integrity of technical records related to aircraft, engines, components, and equipment. Support the review and evaluation of maintenance programme amendments and associated technical documentation. Technical Documentation & Record Management Maintain and update airworthiness-related records, reports, and support documentation in accordance with regulatory and company requirements. Prepare technical reports, compliance summaries, and support documentation for internal review and regulatory submissions. Ensure airworthiness files and records are maintained in a complete, accurate, and auditable condition. Support the preparation and closure of airworthiness review findings and corrective action tracking. Regulatory & Quality Compliance Ensure compliance with BCAA regulations, approved company procedures, and applicable manufacturer requirements. Assist during regulatory inspections, audits, and internal quality reviews by providing required technical records and evidence of compliance. Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from audits, investigations, or regulatory findings. Monitor changes to airworthiness regulations and communicate relevant impacts to management. Continuous Improvement & Technical Support Provide technical support and recommendations on airworthiness matters to internal stakeholders within the Technical Division.
