The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the maintenance field and a strong work ethic.<br> <br> <strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong> <p></p> <ul> <li> <p>Run the daily maintenance operations of the property and buildings.</p> </li> <li> <p>Inspect property and buildings for life/safety issues and take immediate corrective action and inform the line manager.</p> </li> <li> <p>Identify building maintenance needs, prioritize work and take corrective actions and take manager Approval.</p> </li> <li> <p>Be a self starter and work independently in the absence of supervision.</p> </li> <li> <p>Perform a full range of skilled building maintenance for extended periods of time.</p> </li> <li> <p>Repair and maintain a variety of mechanical equipment.</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain a Clean work area.</p> </li> <li> <p>Assists contractors for any requirements the company required.</p> </li> <li> <p>Perform preventative maintenance on buildings including but not limited to: skilled carpentry, Electrical, painting, plastering, dry walling, plumbing, heating, limited air conditioning and basic Mechanical repair work, door hardware, keying, exit and emergency lighting.</p> </li> <li> <p>Repair electrical switches, outlets, lighting systems and fixtures.</p> </li> <li> <p>Perform advance level plumbing work including the installation, repair and replacement of Plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, faucets, water heaters and pipes; clear obstructions from Water and sewer lines.</p> </li> <li> <p>Perform adequate level of carpentry work including the repair ofstairs, handrails, trim, walls, Windows, siding, doors and other work.</p> </li> <li> <p>Inspect building facilities to identify building maintenance needs.</p> </li> <li> <p>Preventive maintenance reports, recommend, prioritize and perform corrective maintenance required.</p> </li> </ul> <p> <strong>Qualifications:</strong> </p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent</p> </li> <li> <p>Minimum of 2 years experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a commercial or residential setting</p> </li> <li> <p>Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong problem-solving and time management skills</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</p> </li> <li> <p>Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks</p> </li> <li> <p>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation</p> </li> </ul>
