<p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p>

<li>Monitor potential risks arising from inadequate system configurations or outdated rules and implement appropriate mitigating actions.</li>

<p><strong>Specific accountabilities:</strong></p>

<li>Develop and optimize detection rules and scenarios in NetReveal's transaction monitoring system to effectively identify suspicious activities across the group.</li>
<li>Configure customer scoring models in the customer risk assessment module to accurately assess individual and entity risks across the group.</li>
<li>Analyze the root causes of false positives and implement strategies to reduce them without compromising detection quality.</li>
<li>Regularly monitor and adjust detection thresholds and scoring algorithms.</li>
<li>Ensure seamless integration with external data sources, such as regulatory databases, customer data repositories, and transaction data feeds.</li>
<li>Regularly test and fine-tune scenarios and models to reflect the organization's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Conduct regression testing after updates to validate expected system performance and accuracy.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, such as alert handling and rule management, to improve efficiency.</li>
<li>Integrate the NetReveal system with downstream processes, such as case management tools and reporting systems.</li>
<li>Configure and monitor alerts for high-priority risks, such as suspicious transaction patterns or high-risk customer profiles.</li>
<li>Ensure real-time monitoring capabilities are functioning effectively and provide proactive resolution for performance issues.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on system configurations, tuning strategies, and best practices.</li>
