If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.<br>Job Summary:<br>Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of the hotel and ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timely reporting of financial information in accordance with Marriott International policies, procedures, and internal control standards.<br>Manage and review core accounting functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Income Audit, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, month-end closing, accruals, and journal entries. Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, supported, and reconciled within established deadlines.<br>Monitor hotel revenues, expenses, and financial performance, providing meaningful analysis of budget and forecast variances to support management decision-making. Assist the Director of Finance with the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis.<br>Maintain effective financial controls and ensure compliance with Marriott standards, applicable accounting principles, statutory requirements, and audit procedures. Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings and financial discrepancies.<br>Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team by establishing clear responsibilities, maintaining high standards of accuracy and accountability, and supporting continuous improvement in finance processes.
