<p><strong><u>Scope and General Purpose of Job</u>: </strong></p><br><p>To maintain and repair all Air Conditioning equipment and units within the hotel to ensure their full functionality at all times. All work will be in line with the hotel’s business plan and in accordance with Wyndham corporate policies and procedures, as well as local requirements and regulations.</p><br><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><br><ul><li><p>Attends daily start of shift briefings.</p><br></li><li><p>Carries out professional and prompt servicing of Chillers, Air Handling units, Fan Coil Units, Freezers, Cold Rooms. Proactively identifies defective equipment and carries out prompt repairs as needed. Updates Engineering Supervisor on a daily basis in regards to repairs needed, completed or scheduled.</p><br></li><li><p>Checks the temperatures achieved of all kitchen freezers, fridges & ice cube machines at the times specified by the engineering Supervisor on a daily basis. Investigates and adjusts if any unit is not achieving the optimum temperature as set and advised by the Engineering Supervisor.</p><br></li><li><p>Completes the daily temperature log sheet for freezers, fridges & ice cube machines and hands over to the Engineering Supervisor at end of shift for his information and records.</p><br></li><li><p>Repairs ACs in guest bedrooms or other areas as per assigned service requests.</p><br></li><li><p>Checks with the HK Supervisor to access guest rooms where repair work is required.</p><br></li><li><p>Ensures to work in a clean and tidy manner at all times when assigned to carry out repairs in guest or pubic areas. Uses protective cloths to prevent damage to surrounding areas.</p><br></li><li><p>Responsible to clean any dirt or mess created due to repair work before leaving the area.</p><br></li><li><p>Does not leave guest rooms open or unattended at any time when assigned to carry out work in rooms.</p><br></li><li><p>Greets & interacts with guests in a warm, polite and friendly manner at every point of contact.</p><br></li><li><p>Checks function sheets upon commencing duty and ensures that ACs are turned on in meeting venues a minimum of 2 hours prior to the start time of event.</p><br></li><li><p>Informs the Engineering Supervisor of any uncompleted work before leaving duty. Stays to complete assigned work whenever requested or instructed to do so by the Supervisor.</p><br></li></ul><p>· Prepares a monthly status report on all plant & equipment and submits to the Engineering Supervisor for his information and advice</p><br><ul><li><p>Keeps all tools & equipment safe and secure. Returns to the designated area at end of shift.</p><br></li><li><p>Forms part of the hotels emergency team. Under the guidance of the Engineering Supervisor must be fully aware of, and fully trained in, all aspects of the hotels Fire, Evacuation & Crisis Management Manual procedures and adhere to them at all times.</p><br></li><li><p>Responds immediately whenever the Fire Alarm bell sounds. Reports to the Engineering Office or Operators area to check the location of the alarm signal. If assigned by the Chief Engineer/Asst Chief Engineer or Fire Controller proceeds to the identified area to investigate the cause of the alarm.</p><br></li><li><p>Promptly informs the Chief Engineer/Engineering Supervisor if the alarm is false or "real" and takes actions as per the hotel Fire Procedure accordingly.</p><br></li><li><p>To report any unsafe conditions or practices that compromise safety regulations or could cause damage to hotel property to the Engineering Supervisor immediately whenever seen in the different areas of responsibility</p><br></li><li><p>Maintains a high level of loyalty and confidentiality and does not divulge hotel or guest information to any unauthorized person.</p><br></li></ul> </div>

The platform serves many customers from a single deployment, so every pipeline stage has to hold up under strict tenant isolation, bursty traffic, third-party rate limits, and partial failure. The engineering problems are, first and foremost, distributed systems problems. The team is small and senior in outlook. Engineers ship to production, own what they ship, and work directly with the operations teams who use the product every day. We hire for engineering quality above everything else. You will build production components of the platform from your first month, paired with a senior engineer who owns the subsystem you work in, and you will grow toward owning one yourself. <p>1.Work with, and under the direction of the designated A/C Engineers/Lic Technicians to carry out routine tasks and non-routine tasks.<br>2.Replace components on Company or other operators aircraft and engines as required.<br>3.Strictly adhere to company staff rules and regulation.<br>4.Strictly adhere to company safety rules and regulation and to wear proper uniform and safety shoes while on duty.<br>5.Adhere and comply with aircraft approved maintenance documents instructions when performing any routine tasks and non-routine tasks and acquaint self with all the safety related precautions to avoid personal injuries or damages to aircraft structures and systems. <br>6.Make sure that all equipments and tools used for aircraft maintenance are in serviceable and safe condition. Report any faulty equipment or tool to Engineer or Duty Manager, unserviceable tool/ equipment must be isolated and attach a with unserviceable tag.<br>7.Service equipment and aircraft special tools as deemed necessary to maintain them in a serviceable, safe and clean condition.<br>8.As part of maintenance practice, make sure that all tools used to perfom any routine and non-routine task are registered, to make sure they are removed on task completion.<br>9.On completion of routine tasks and non-routine tasks, make sure that work area is tidy and free from any loose articles.<br>10.Assist in positioning and clearing equipment to carry maintenance tasks on aircraft.<br>11.Make sure that all tools and equipment used are returned to proper location.<br>12.Perform the headset duties during engine ground runs and aircraft Towing in accordance with company TIM procedures.<br>13.Adhere to Airside Safety Rules and Regulations in regard to driving and work area cleanliness.<br>14.Purchase a approved tool kit containing appropriate tools to perform duties on the company and third party fleets.<br>15.Perform the required duties in accordance with AME and Duty Manager instruction and aircraft approved documentations procedures.<br>16.Maintain a high level of self discipline and respect his superiors instructions.<br>17.Become familiar with Gulf Air Information System AMOS and its basic transactions related to this work scope.<br> </p>
