<p>We are seeking an experienced System / Infrastructure Administrator to support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure for GFH in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of servers, operating systems, virtualization platforms, storage, backup solutions, and core infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization, backup and recovery, infrastructure monitoring, and troubleshooting within a corporate environment.</p><p>Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows Server environments and associated infrastructure. Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user/access administration. Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online and related services. Manage and maintain virtual infrastructure using VMware and/or Microsoft Hyper-V. Monitor server and infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and system health. Manage enterprise backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes. Administer storage systems, file servers, permissions, and shared infrastructure resources. Perform regular operating system patching, upgrades, security updates, and infrastructure maintenance. Troubleshoot complex server, operating system, application, connectivity, and infrastructure issues. Support infrastructure security, including system hardening, privileged access, endpoint protection, and vulnerability remediation. Coordinate with network, security, application, database, and service desk teams to resolve technical incidents. Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes in accordance with IT service-management procedures. Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation, configurations, procedures, asset records, and technical diagrams. Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, implementations, and technology refresh initiatives. Work with technology vendors and service providers when required. Ensure infrastructure complies with organizational security policies, standards, and operational requirements. <p><h4>Responsibilities of the role</h4>
<p>Reporting to the Automation Lead, the job holder will be responsible for the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Manage all IT operations jobs like End of Days, Start of Days, file transfers, etc. via Control-M.</li>
<li>Control-M application software installation, configuration, deployment, and upgrades.</li>
<li>Advise on improving the way of working by bringing an automation-based perspective, proactively suggesting areas of improvement.</li>
<li>Ensure all the Control-M components are always designed and implemented with a high availability concept and increase overall process resiliency.</li>
<li>Should work with operating systems like Solaris, Linux, AIX, and Windows.</li>
<li>Scripting on various platforms and languages (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) to automate operations within Control-M jobs.</li>
<li>Install and manage Control-M modules, i.e., Control-M for backups, Control-M for OS, Control-M for database, Control-M for applications.</li>
<li>Install Control-M Server, Enterprise Manager, and agents (Windows, Unix, and Linux) along with monitoring and troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Keep everything documented and all documents constantly up-to-date to keep the team aware of how procedures are running.</li>
<li>Manage the complete Control-M infrastructure in the bank, including installation, upgrade, and configuration of Control-M Workload Automation tool version 8/9+ and future versions.</li>
<li>Run all operation tasks on all banking applications including development, test, UAT/SIT, and production environments.</li>
<li>Automate the above operations and other tasks under Control-M to the maximum extent.</li>
<li>Document all tasks configured under Control-M with contingency plans for running the above jobs manually in case Control-M is not available.</li>
<li>Utilize the full functionality available under Control-M to innovate and improve all tasks running in GPH.</li>
<li>Configure reports on Control-M to report on all operations being performed under Control-M to higher management.</li>
<li>Enhance the reports available in Control-M or build custom reports by using third-party tools like Crystal Report.</li>
<li>Integrate Control-M with backup software to make backups part of the End of Day workflow.</li>
<li>Be part of the operations team for smooth running of operations in GPH.</li>
<li>Be part of the project team to automate tasks on new products.</li>
<li>Support any disaster recovery and business continuity test activities.</li>
<li>Monitor alerts and ensure service availability 24x7.</li>
<li>Coordinate patch and vulnerabilities management.</li>

<h4>Areas of knowledge, qualification and experience</h4>

<li>2-5 years of proven IT operations experience with Unix/Linux and Windows system administration, with 2+ years programming experience and proficiency in Unix shell (Korn, C, Bash) scripting.</li>
<li>A minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.</li>
<li>Solid experience working as a Control-M scheduler in a distributed environment of Windows/Linux/Solaris/AIX.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Crystal Report and other tools to generate customized reports on end of day and other banking operations from Control-M.</li>

<h4>Roles and responsibilities</h4>
<p>This position reports directly to the PM, Site Lead, or their designee. The C2 Systems Analyst serves as the subject matter expert (SME) to enable C4I systems throughout the DoD to share information to build a common operational picture (COP) and common tactical picture (CTP) to enable leaders to make accurate and informed decisions based on situational awareness.</p>
<p>The Joint Tactical Common Operational Picture Workstation (JTCW) is a Windows-based tactical COP suite designed for battalion level and above to facilitate command and control functions by enhancing situational awareness and operational/tactical decision making. These support efforts are provided to military units while deployed, in garrison, in preparation for, and while participating in major exercises and contingency operations.</p>
<p>The C2 Systems Analyst will primarily provide support to US Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa (MARFOREUR/AF) and also assist deployed or allocated Fleet Marine Force (FMF) units and other DoD agencies to configure, integrate, resolve issues, and establish their command-and-control architecture to meet exercise and contingency operations in European and African OCONUS regions.</p>
<p>This position is responsible for integrating a wide variety of C2 systems including, but not limited to Agile Client, Command-and-Control Personal Computer (C2PC), Tactical Assault Kit (TAK), Joint Tactical COP Workstation (JTCW), Tactical Service Orientated Architecture (TSOA), Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) and Data Dissemination Service (DDS).</p>
<p>The C2 Systems Analyst will work cross-functionally with several departments, but most importantly with the Command Post Systems Advisor (CPSA) and those who are performing work at the government customers’ sites. Travel is expected up to 25%.</p>

<p>Provide over-the-shoulder C2 systems user training to MARFOREURAF Command Center watch standers, and be prepared to deploy with the Command Center personnel to offsite locations, such as during continuity of operations (COOP) events, both for training and real-world scenarios.</p>
<p>Provide executive-level C2 technical advice and support battle staffs with the identification of information flow required to support mission essential tasks (MET) in the identification of the configuration and integration of C2 systems.</p>
<p>Provide technical support to MARFOREURAF and deployed or allocated FMF units within the USEUCOM and USAFRICOM areas of operation on C2 related systems such as Agile Client, C2PC, GCCS-J, MCH, TAK, JADOCS, AFATDS (to include ASCA communications), and new or emergent capabilities.</p>
<p>Introduce MARFOREURAF to the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and advances to emergent capabilities to achieve interdependence and operational effectiveness.</p>
