<p>Beyond is the world's first premium leisure airline. As we continue to expand our regulatory and operational footprint, we are establishing a Bahrain Air Operator Certificate (AOC) under the oversight of the Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (BCAA). We are seeking a Nominated Postholder Crew Training to lead the development, certification and oversight of crew training for our Bahrain AOC, ensuring our flight and cabin crew training programmes meet all regulatory and operational requirements, based in Manama, Bahrain.</p>
<p>The Nominated Postholder Crew Training is appointed by, and reports to, the Accountable Manager, and is responsible for:</p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure safe and secure operations and remain in compliance with the applicable Bahrain Air Navigation Technical Regulations (ANTR) and BCAA requirements for the operational area under your responsibility</li>
<li>Plan and co-ordinate all initial, conversion and recurrent training with the Manager Flight Crew Training, on a rolling strategy of at least six months</li>
<li>Maintain records of all training activities and individual flight-crew records for initial, conversion and recurrent training</li>
<li>Be responsible for the contents of Operations Manual Part D and keep the department current with all revisions</li>
<li>Perform or delegate line checks and ensure course candidates meet prerequisite standards</li>
<li>Ensure instructors maintain competence through spot-checks and standardisation briefings, and perform annual standardisation checks</li>
<li>Decide training plans to ensure adequate crew numbers per fleet in coordination with the Accountable Manager, and implement the department Safety Management System (SMS) under the Safety Manager</li>
</ul>
<h4>Requirements</h4>
<p>This is a Nominated Postholder position under the applicable Bahrain Air Navigation Technical Regulations (ANTR) and associated BCAA requirements and guidance. Appointment is subject to formal nomination to and acceptance by BCAA.</p>
<h4>Mandatory</h4>
<ul>
<li>The postholder or their nominated deputy must be a current Type Rating Instructor or Type Rating Examiner (TRI/TRE) on a type or class operated under the AOC</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of the AOC holder's crew-training concept for flight, cabin and other crew</li>
<li>At least 5 years' relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years in the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position</li>
<li>Comprehensive knowledge of the applicable Bahrain ANTR and BCAA requirements, the AOC holder's operations and its management/compliance system</li>
<li>Must be acceptable to BCAA following formal assessment</li>
