<p>The Power Generator Technician is responsible for testing, proper operation and repair of the power generation and power frequency converter equipment in support of technical assistance (TA). The Generator Technician shall participate in inspection and repair of the MEIs. Additionally, the Generator Technician shall advise on performing preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS). The Generator Technician shall perform advisory duties for the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and testing of diesel generators to include 15kw/400Hz, 30kw/400Hz, and 150kw/400Hz. The Generator Technician shall advise on all levels of diesel generator maintenance to include field and sustainment maintenance. Efforts may include the installation of the generator sets and power frequency converters for system equipment. Support will be provided for the testing, operation and repair of all power generation and power conversion equipment (such as frequency converters). The Power Generator Technician will interface with manufacturers of power generation and power conversion equipment on a required basis. Responsible for performing Preventive Maintenance Checks Services (PMCS), troubleshooting and repairing of generators that support Patriot system. Coordinates PMCS and repair activities to the Lead.
