What You Will Do : The Power Generator Technician is responsible for testing, proper operation and repair of the power generation and power frequency converter equipment in support of technical assistance (TA). The Power Generator Technician will interface with manufacturers of power generation and power conversion equipment on a required basis. Responsible for performing Preventive Maintenance Checks Services (PMCS), troubleshooting and repairing of generators that support Patriot system. Coordinates PMCS and repair activities to the Lead. Creating 2404 and entering non-conformance into Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (iMRO). This position is located in Manama, Bahrain  Qualifications We Prefer: The Generator Technician shall be a graduate of the US Army Mast and Electric Power Plant Maintenance (ASI C9) course and the US Army Power Generation Equipment Repairer (MOS 52D or 91D) Course or a graduate of a technical school or manufacturer's course of instruction on diesel power generation equipment. The Power Generation Technician shall possess work experience in troubleshooting, fault isolation, disassembly, repair, assembly and checkout of power generation equipment. Have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the repair and refurbishment of generators and possess a working knowledge of the 15kw/400Hz, 30kw/400Hz and 150kw/400Hz diesel generators. Demonstrated basic knowledge and experience with the organizational and intermediate electrical troubleshooting techniques of diesel generators.
