<p>Objective</p><p>The principal objective of the post is to drive student recruitment to RCSI Medical University of Bahrain, supporting the achievement of recruitment targets across the Universityu2019s programmes. The postholder will take an account management and relationship-led approach to recruitment, establishing, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with schools, career counsellors, government bodies and other key stakeholders. They will act as a trusted adviser and key point of contact, identifying opportunities to support application and enrolment growth. The postholder will work closely with the Student Recruitment and Admissions Manager and wider team to develop and deliver recruitment plans across Bahrain, the GCC and other priority markets.</p><p>Reports to: ttStudent Recruitment and Admissions Manager / Student Recruitment Team Lead</p><p>Key Interfaces</p><p>Marketing, RCSI Bahrain staff, schools, career counsellors, government and education bodies, third-party service providers. This position requires a high degree of cross-functional liaison with internal departments and external stakeholders.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Student Recruitment and Business Development:</p><ul><li>Drive the delivery of student recruitment plans for all RCSI Bahrain programmes</li><li>Develop and manage a portfolio of priority schools across key markets, building strong, productive and long-term relationships</li><li>Act as a trusted adviser and key point of contact for career counsellors, schools and other key stakeholders</li><li>Plan and deliver school visits, presentations, career fairs, recruitment events, campus tours, webinars and other student attraction activities across Bahrain, the GCC and other priority markets</li><li>Work with the Student Recruitment team to identify priority markets, schools and opportunities, using recruitment data and market insight to focus activity and increase applications</li><li>Identify and develop new recruitment opportunities, partnerships and channels to strengthen the prospective student pipeline</li><li>Represent RCSI Bahrain professionally at external events and meetings, communicating the Universityu2019s programmes and proposition with confidence</li></ul><p>Admissions and conversion:</p><ul><li>Support prospective students throughout the recruitment and admissions journey, from initial enquiry through to application, offer and registration</li><li>Work closely with Admissions colleagues to identify and address issues affecting applicant progression and conversion</li><li>Contribute to initiatives designed to improve enquiry-to-application, application-to-offer and offer-to-registration conversion</li></ul><p>CRM management:</p><ul><li>Maintain accurate and comprehensive records with the Universityu2019s CRM systems</li><li>Record engagement activity, opportunities, follow-up actions and outcomes to support effective relationship and pipeline management</li><li>Provide regular updates and reporting on recruitment activity</li></ul><p>Market insight:</p><ul><li>Work with the Marketing team to ensure recruitment materials are accurate, up to date, and available when required</li><li>Provide recruitment and market insight to support marketing campaigns</li><li>Contribute to market research and insight-generation activities, including feedback from key stakeholders</li><li>Monitor competitor activity and market developments and share relevant insights with the Student Recruitment and Admissions Manager and wider team</li></ul><p>Other responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Ensure that all RCSI and RCSI Bahrain policies and procedures are adhered to</li><li>Undergo training programmes and development as may be required</li><li>Represent the best interests of RCSI and RCSI Bahrain at all times</li><li>Perform other duties as may be required</li></ul><p>The duties listed above are not exhaustive</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Fluency in English and Arabic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages</li><li>A higher education qualification, preferably in a business or management-related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience</li><li>Demonstrable experience in business development, account management, sales, relationship management, or recruitment</li><li>Experience of using CRM systems to manage relationships, opportunities and stakeholder information</li><li>Experience in student recruitment and admissions is desirable</li><li>Experience in higher education or a comparable relationship-focused environment would be advantageous</li></ul><p>Skills and Competencies:</p><ul><li>Commercially minded, proactive and results-focused, with a strong drive to deliver recruitment outcomes</li><li>Strong relationship-building and account management skills, with the ability to become a trusted adviser to key stakeholders</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, adaptable to different audiences</li><li>Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop productive long-term relationships</li><li>Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines</li><li>A motivated individual who takes ownership of their tasks and works effectively both independently and as part of a team</li><li>Confident using CRM data and market insight to prioritise activity and support decision-making</li><li>Willingness to travel and work outside normal hours, including evenings and weekends, when required. <p>Reporting to: Head of Student Development and Wellbeing. Objective/ Role Purpose: To provide senior coordination and supervision of the University’s extra and co-curricular student personal and professional development (PPD) programmes delivered by the Student Development and Wellbeing Department, supporting the development of well-rounded, resilient and professionally prepared healthcare graduates. Key responsibilities: Development of effective coordination strategies, planning, enhancement and evaluation of a range of university-wide extra- and co-curricular student development programmes, ensuring that opportunities are accessible, inclusive, evidence-informed and aligned with the University’s graduate profile, curriculum, student needs and strategic priorities, designed to enhance student experience and academic, personal and professional growth. Provide effective coordination and oversight of key University extra- and co-curricular personal and professional development programmes, including: International Citizenship Award Programme Personal Tutor Programme for Foundation Year medical students Student Health Ambassador Programme Personal and Professional Development Fund for students attending research conferences, workshops and PPD events Student Engagement and Partnership (StEP) Programme Other student development, engagement and support initiatives as required. Work closely with the Head of Student Development and Wellbeing to contribute to the development and implementation of the Department's student development strategy. Enhance existing department programmes to support students in shaping the knowledge, skills, attributes and professional behaviours required for successful future careers and which support students' Professional Identity Formation, as defined within the curriculum, complementing formal academic and clinical education. Work collaboratively and co-create initiatives with students and relevant stakeholders, including clinical partners, who contribute to the achievement of the University's student graduate profile. Work closely with the Department’s Communications Coordinator to supervise programme promotion and coordinate communications, events, workshops and activities using appropriate digital platforms, media and communication channels as appropriate. Develop effective communication and promotional approaches to ensure that students are aware of available opportunities and understand their relevance to their personal and professional development. Manage programme budgets and expenditure, ensuring effective and appropriate use of allocated resources and compliance with University approval procedures. Coordinate programme documentation, resources and communications, ensuring that Information is accurate, accessible and regularly updated. Prepare and publish relevant programme information and resources on the University's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and other media. Monitoring, Evaluation and Quality Enhancement: Establish and maintain appropriate systems for monitoring participation, engagement, progression and outcomes across PPD programmes. Maintain accurate databases, records, metrics and management information relating to student engagement with extra- and co-curricular programmes. Gather and analyse student and stakeholder feedback to evaluate the quality, relevance and effectiveness of programmes. Produce regular reports and presentations on programme participation, outcomes, impact and areas for development. Use data, feedback, research and evidence-informed practice to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Contribute to quality assurance, review and enhancement processes relating to student development and experience.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Higher level degree in relevant topic such as education/professional development / teaching and learning/training and development. Student-centred, with significant experience in programme coordination / education/training and development or professional education including marketing of programme offerings. Experience of working collaboratively within a higher education, healthcare education or professional education environment is highly desirable. Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines effectively. Excellent intercultural communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, academic and professional services colleagues and external stakeholders. Excellent digital literacy skills, including databases, communication platforms and other media Strong data management and analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret and present participation, engagement and outcome data. <p>To provide coordinated communications and operational support to the Student Development and Wellbeing Department team, ensuring that students and staff are effectively informed about, engaged with and supported through the Departmentu2019s programmes, services and activities. The Communications Coordinator is a central point of contact for departmental communications and promotion of Department events. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and implement timely communications and promotional activities for the Departmentu2019s programmes, services, resources, events and initiatives, aligned with the University's academic calendar and departmental schedules. Develop and maintain an annual departmental communications and events calendar, ensuring that key activities, campaigns, deadlines and promotional requirements are planned and communicated in a timely manner. Liaise with relevant University departments and stakeholders to obtain required approvals, resources and support for departmental communications, events and promotional activities. Manage and maintain the Department's presence and information across the University's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), website, media boards, ConnectEd and other approved communication channels including digital channels and social media. Regularly review and update departmental webpages, VLE content, student guidance, announcements and other digital resources to ensure information is accurate, current, accessible and engaging. Prepare, write and distribute communications, press releases, announcements, promotional materials and digital content for students, faculty and relevant stakeholders. Maintain departmental communications resources, including press releases, departmental information, publications, photographic database images, and promotional materials. Support the development and production of departmental publications, including brochures, student Information booklets and other printed and digital resources, working with suppliers and the University's Marketing and Communications (MarComs) team as appropriate. Ensure that communications are appropriate to the intended audience and reflect the University's professional standards and brand guidelines. Assist other department coordinators with the planning, scheduling and coordination of practical arrangements for events, including room bookings, facilities, equipment, materials, media and photographic coverage etc. where required. Organise media plans for post-event promotion and dissemination of information. Represent the department as a welcoming and professional first point of contact for students, staff, visitors and external stakeholders engaging with the Department. Welcome visitors and provide accurate information about departmental services, programmes and activities.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Degree in marketing/communications/media or similar subject Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style and content to different audiences. Strong digital and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc as well as other software applications for design and content creation; experience using Virtual Learning Environments, CRM/database systems and digital communication platforms. Prior experience with graphic design, poster production / digital content creation Understanding of social media platforms and their appropriate use for promoting programmes, services, events and organisational achievements. Strong visual communication and creative skills, with an ability to produce engaging and professional promotional materials. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities, priorities and deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and presentation.
