Candidates should have worked in IT Operations for a Bank or financial institutions. (3 to 4 years experience)
- Run the daily, monthly, and yearly end of day processes
- Monitor Data Centres with one weekly visit to DR site
- Monitor the system for equipment failure or performance issues.
- Notify supervisor or computer maintenance technicians of equipment malfunctions.
- Attend to logged calls related to IT Operations in Service desk management system
- Read job set-up instructions to determine equipment to be used, order of use, material such as disks and paper to be loaded, and control settings.
- Operate spread sheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and to produce reports.
- Load peripheral equipment with consumables and media
- Answer telephone calls to assist computer users encountering operational issues
- Help Service Desk engineers to test and diagnose computer hardware and software
- Run the operation of computer hardware systems, including coordinating and scheduling the use of computers and networks to ensure efficient use.
- Track reported problems and associated solutions
- Follow-up daily cases and ensure that the required actions are taken
- Further develop technical aptitude and customer service knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: BD450.000 - BD550.000 per month
