<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <p><b>About the job Corporate Tax Manager - Tax Advisory</b></p><br> <p><b>Job Type: </b>Full Time</p><br> <p><b>Location: </b>Bahrain</p><br> <p><b>Department:</b>&nbsp;Tax Advisory, Grant Thornton Abdulaal</p><br> <p><b>Designation:</b>&nbsp;Manager - Corporate Tax</p><br> <p><b>Primary Duties</b></p><br> <ul><li>Deliver a full range of tax advisory services in compliance with local laws and regulations.</li><li>Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise.</li><li>Provide innovative tax planning and review complex tax returns.</li><li>Identify risks, manage tax exposures, and mitigate tax risks by providing tax planning, structuring, and highlighting tax implications.</li><li>Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.</li><li>Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.</li><li>Manage and coordinate tax audits.</li><li>Inform management of changes in the tax environment, as well as the ramifications of tax legislation changes.</li><li>Manage and lead the tax advisory team.</li></ul> <p><b>Decision Making Authority</b></p><br> <ul><li>In coordination with Partner &amp; Senior Partner.</li></ul> <p><b>Competencies/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</b></p><br> <ul><li>Excellent numeric and analytical skills.</li><li>Result-driven and client focus.</li><li>Ability to meet client deadlines.</li><li>Ability to withstanding work pressure.</li></ul> <p><b>Qualifications</b></p><br> <ul><li>Degree in accounting, finance, commerce or related field.</li><li>Completed a professional qualification, such as CPA/ACCA/CA/ LLB/LLM/LLD/JSD.</li><li>5+ years of professional experience in the taxation field.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.</li><li>Good knowledge on business process.</li></ul> <p>For further information, and to apply, please visit our website via the “Apply” button below.</p><br><br> </div>
