<p><h4>Essential responsibilities:</h4>
<p>The designee shall be qualified to maintain, modify, and repair electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC) systems, and associated equipment. Performs scheduled periodic maintenance on systems and components, and adjusts systems to maintain proper voltage, refrigerant levels, current, frequency, and synchronization. Identifies, repairs, and records malfunctions by removing, repairing, and/or replacing defective components.</p>
<p>The designee shall maintain systems such as, but not limited to, Cummins generator series DGDK, DSGAB, DGBB, C15D6, C35D6, 125D6D, MEPP series 1050, 1070A, PP-3106A and utilize Cummins InPower software for diagnostics. This designee shall be qualified to work from blueprints, drawings, and operate a variety of electrician’s hand tools and testing instruments.</p>
<p>Support various generator and HVAC systems identified in Table 4.5.1 – C2 Systems and Associated Support Equipment, Table 4.5.2 ATCALS Systems and Associated Support Equipment, Table 4.5.3 ATC Weather Systems and Associated Support Equipment, Table 4.5.4 C2 Air Control Squadron O&M Support, and Table 4.5.5 Regional Maintenance Center O&M and Support Equipment. Units range from 15 kW to 250 kW power generation and 1 to 5 ton HVAC split and rooftop configurations.</p>
<h4>Minimum position knowledge, skills, and abilities required:</h4>

<li>Universal 608 HVAC certification.</li>
<li>High school diploma or GED. Formal training on power generating equipment and associated equipment such as military technical training school, vocational college, and/or a four-year apprentice program with experience in electrical power production maintenance and repair.</li>

<li>Computer knowledge to navigate online training, timekeeping, and email.</li>
