recruit for a <b>Chief Sports Complex Officer</b> for a landmark sports and
leisure destination in the GCC region.<br></p><br><p>This is a senior executive appointment responsible for

large-scale, multi-venue complex. The destination accommodates diverse sporting
activities, hospitality services, academies, community programmes, and major

the complex’s future growth.</span><br></p><br><br><span>Requirements</span><ul><li><span>At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience, including substantial experience in a senior executive or C-suite position.</span><br></li><li><span>Proven leadership of a large sports resort, multi-sport complex, leisure destination, major venue group, or similarly complex operation.</span><br></li><li><span>Demonstrated responsibility for multiple venues, significant annual revenue, large teams, and diverse operational functions.</span><br></li><li><span>Strong exposure to specialised sporting operations such as equestrian sports, motorsport, shooting, water sports, sports academies, or comparable disciplines.</span><br></li><li><span>Proven success in developing strategy, improving operational performance, growing revenue, and leading organisational transformation.</span><br></li><li><span>Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budgeting, revenue optimisation, pricing, partnerships, and asset utilisation.</span><br></li><li><span>Experience managing high-profile sporting, corporate, community, or entertainment events.</span><br></li><li><span>Established credibility in managing senior government, federation, sponsor, partner, and board-level stakeholders.</span><br></li><li><span>Experience in the Middle East or another culturally diverse and relationship-driven market is highly desirable.</span><br></li><li><span>Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sports management, hospitality, leisure management, or a relevant discipline; a master’s degree or executive qualification would be advantageous.</span><br></li><li><span>Excellent English communication skills. <span><br>POSITION SUMMARY<br>Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Communicate each day’s activities and problems that occur to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards. Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in the following categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building. Perform all surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement and the complete and thorough cleanup of the painting or repair area. Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical components including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guestroom items. Program TV's and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties. Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work. Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping as well as external landscaping sprinklers. Display basic computer skills including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.<br>Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Adhere to quality expectations and standards. Corporate HSE Manager<br>Position Summary<br>The Corporate HSE Manager has to lead and strengthen our Health, Safety and Environment management systems across the organization. The successful candidate will provide strategic HSE leadership across multiple large-scale construction and infrastructure projects in QD-SBG while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Develop and implement the corporate HSE strategy, policies, standards, and objectives across the organization. Provide HSE leadership and governance for multiple concurrent mega construction and infrastructure projects in Qatar. Ensure compliance with Ashghal requirements, QCS, local regulations, and client-specific HSE standards. Support project teams throughout all phases of project execution, from mobilization to handover. Monitor HSE performance across all projects and establish KPI dashboards for management reporting. Lead incident investigations and ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Apply structured problem-solving methodologies including Root Cause Analysis, Ishikawa (Fishbone Analysis), 5 Whys, and continuous improvement tools. Conduct corporate HSE audits, inspections, and management reviews to ensure consistency and compliance across projects. Manage and mentor project HSE teams and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization. Coordinate with clients, consultants, regulatory authorities, and senior management on HSE matters. Review project risk assessments, method statements, emergency response plans, and high-risk activities. Identify trends, lessons learned, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Deliver presentations and communicate HSE performance and strategic initiatives to executive management. Ensure adequate resources and HSE staffing are maintained across multiple projects simultaneously. Drive behavioral safety initiatives and workforce engagement programs. Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems and maintain certification requirements.<br>Requirements<br>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline. Minimum 20–25 years of HSE experience including 5 years in an executive or corporate management role, with significant exposure to major construction and infrastructure projects. NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent professional certification. Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification or Lean Management background. Experience with operational excellence and continuous improvement systems. Lead Auditor certification for ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001. Previous experience managing HSE activities across several projects simultaneously. Strong knowledge of Ashghal requirements, Qatar Construction Specifications and local regulatory frameworks. Excellent presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Previous experience with major infrastructure, roads, utilities, rail, or government projects in Qatar.

Organize and coordinate check-in/pre-registration procedures for arriving groups. Review/Track/Accommodate requests for room/check-out changes when possible; communicate status to appropriate staff. Confirm reservations and cancellations. Review out-of-order rooms daily. Ensure rates match market codes and document exceptions. Verify and adjust billing for guests. File guest paperwork or documentation. Set up/process all guest check-ins/check-outs. Activate room keys. Secure valid payment. Identify any over-commitments. Perform duplicate reservation checks; block rooms. Run daily reports. Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction. Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly.<br><br>Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
