<span><br>POSITION SUMMARY<br>Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Communicate each day’s activities and problems that occur to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards. Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in the following categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building. Perform all surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement and the complete and thorough cleanup of the painting or repair area. Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment, plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical components including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guestroom items. Program TV's and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties. Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work. Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping as well as external landscaping sprinklers. Display basic computer skills including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.<br>Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Adhere to quality expectations and standards. <p>The main objective of the wellness coordinator role is to efficiently establish the wellness function in the region to ensure proper planning, designing, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive wellness program that will serve as an added value benefit to promote the products and services of the company to its existing and prospective customers through various wellness initiatives.</p>

<b>About the Role<br></b>The IT Operations Manager is responsible for leading and governing end-to-end IT operations across Zain Bahrain, covering infrastructure, enterprise applications, digital services, public and private cloud platforms, service desk, and operational support functions.<br>The role ensures availability, reliability, security, supportability, maintainability, lifecycle governance, and continuous improvement of all technology services supporting internal business operations and customer-facing platforms.<br>The position is accountable for IT Service Management, Enterprise Application Maintenance and Operations, Infrastructure Operations, Hybrid Multi-Cloud Operations, DevOps and Platform Operations, Database Administration, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Operational Governance, Vendor Management, and Technology Lifecycle Management.<br>The role drives operational excellence through automation, proactive monitoring, service performance management, change and release governance, security and compliance adherence, cost optimization, and alignment with Zain Bahrain technology and digital transformation objectives.<br><b><br>Responsibilities<br></b>Technology Operations Leadership & Service Management<br><br>Lead end-to-end Technology Operations across infrastructure, applications, cloud, digital platforms, databases, service desk, and end-user support.<br><br>Own KPIs, SLAs/OLAs, availability, incident/problem/change/release management, service reviews, reporting, and continuous improvement.<br><br>Maintain service catalogue, documentation, ownership/escalation models, knowledge base, and coordinate priorities across Technology, Cybersecurity, Digital, business, and vendors.<br>Enterprise Applications & Digital Platforms<br><br>Own availability, performance, support, and lifecycle governance of enterprise and customer-facing applications.<br><br>Oversee patches, upgrades, releases, enhancements, vendor support, monitoring, SLAs/OLAs, production readiness, rollback, and business validation.<br><br>Ensure stable infrastructure operations supporting enterprise applications, digital platforms, customer-facing services, integrations, and supporting business systems.<br><br>Ensure backup, data recovery, data protection, access governance, audit evidence, continuity, capacity, performance, modernization, and customer-impact monitoring.<br>Hybrid Multi-Cloud & Public Cloud Operations<br><br>Manage on-premises, private, hybrid, and public cloud operations (i.e.: Azure, AWS, OCI, and other approved platforms).<br><br>Govern workload placement, landing zones, connectivity, identity/access, monitoring, backup, resilience, support models, shared responsibility, and cloud readiness.<br><br>Implement FinOps covering cost visibility, allocation, forecasting, optimization, anomalies, and accountability.<br>Infrastructure, Platforms & End-User Operations<br><br>Oversee Service Desk, IT Support, endpoints, hardware, user lifecycle, and ticket fulfilment.<br><br>Manage Windows, Linux, Solaris, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, collaboration, messaging, identity, licensing, virtualization, and private cloud platforms including VMware, Huawei FusionCompute, and Oracle VM.<br><br>Oversee servers, storage, backup, archiving, DR, ransomware protection, business continuity, and database operations including patching, tuning, HA, recovery, upgrades, and licensing.<br><br>Ensure availability, resilience, monitoring, integrations, and vendor support for contact centre platforms.<br>DevOps, Kubernetes, Automation & Observability<br><br>Lead DevOps, Kubernetes, automation, and observability operations, including Rancher, cluster upgrades, governance, patching, hardening, and Linux administration.<br><br>Oversee CI/CD and GitOps tools including Helm, ArgoCD, GitLab, and Ansible; govern Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Dynatrace, or equivalent monitoring and logging.<br><br>Drive automation across deployments, reporting, compliance, monitoring, and recovery.<br>Governance, Risk, Audit, Compliance & Security Alignment<br><br>Develop and enforce Technology Operations policies, standards, procedures, controls, and governance frameworks.<br><br>Maintain audit readiness through risk registers, remediation plans, lifecycle governance, access evidence, compliance tracking, audits, regulatory reviews, and security assessments.<br><br>Partner with Cybersecurity on vulnerability remediation and operational controls across infrastructure, applications, cloud, DevOps, and digital services; ensure key operational activities are approved, traceable, and auditable.<br>Budget, Vendor, Asset & Lifecycle Management<br><br>Own CAPEX/OPEX planning across applications, infrastructure, cloud, licenses, support contracts, end-user services, storage, tooling, and professional services.<br><br>Manage vendors, managed services, contracts, renewals, escalations, service reviews, licensing, and commercial optimization.<br><br>Forecast capacity, lifecycle refreshes, upgrades, renewals, platform expansion, and resources while driving cost optimization.<br>Internet Protocol (IP) Operations<br><br>From an infrastructure readiness point of view, oversee enterprise IP networks, services, and operational support to ensure availability, performance, capacity, and resilience.<br><br>Ensure integration across enterprise networks, applications, cloud, data centers, communication, and supporting technology platforms.<br><br>Monitor enterprise IP service performance and coordinate incident, problem, change, and vendor management.<br><br>Ensure appropriate security, access controls, backup, DR, documentation, and operational standards are maintained.<br>Perform any other tasks as requested.<br>Required qualifications & Experience<br><b><br></b><br><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><b style="font-size: 11px;">Qualifications:<br></b><span style="font-size: 11px;">Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. Master degree or professional management qualification is preferred.</span><br><span style="font-size: 11px;">ITIL Foundation or higher is preferred. Certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, VMware, Kubernetes, database administration, cybersecurity, project management, FinOps, or service management are advantageous.</span><br><b style="font-size: 11px;"><br>Experience</b><span style="font-size: 11px;">:</span><br><span style="font-size: 11px;">8+ years of progressive IT operations, infrastructure, application operations, cloud operations, or service management experience, including experience managing vendors, service performance, lifecycle governance, audits, budgets, and cross-functional operational delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance operations of the business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting, banking, reconciliations, month-end closing, expense management, audit support and compliance-related activities. We are looking for a hands-on, reliable, and commercially minded finance professional with strong accounting fundamentals and a proactive, solution-oriented approach. The successful candidate will take ownership of core accounting activities, support reporting, compliance, audit and treasury processes, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and Group functions. This role is ideal for an organised and analytical professional who is comfortable managing a broad range of accounting responsibilities within a dynamic multinational environment.</p><br><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><br><ul><li>Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain complete, accurate and timely financial records.</li><li>Manage the Accounts Payable function, including supplier invoice processing, preparation of payments, supplier reconciliations and resolution of supplier queries.</li><li>Manage and support the Accounts Receivable function, including customer statements, receipt allocation, account reconciliations and follow-up of outstanding customer payments.</li><li>Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, including invoices, payments, receipts, expenses, journals and intercompany transactions.</li><li>Manage and coordinate month-end closing activities, including preparation and review of journals, reconciliations, balance sheet schedules and financial reporting requirements.</li><li>Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items.</li><li>Perform intercompany balance reporting and reconciliations with Group entities and coordinate the resolution of differences.</li><li>Process online banking payments, manage incoming customer receipts and support day-to-day treasury activities.</li><li>Support banking requirements, including bank guarantees, Letters of Credit and related documentation, where applicable.</li><li>Support and coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including preparation of supporting schedules and analysis.</li><li>Perform SOX controls, self-assessments and related control activities, ensuring compliance with internal control requirements and audit readiness.</li><li>Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and support other local statutory and tax compliance requirements.</li><li>Manage employee travel expenses and expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and appropriate supporting documentation.</li><li>Support the application and monitoring of customer credit limits and credit insurance requirements, including requesting new or increased cover where required.</li><li>Perform third-party and customer screening and other compliance checks where required.</li><li>Support internal, external and Group audits by preparing schedules, reports and supporting documentation and coordinating responses to audit queries.</li><li>Maintain accurate and organised finance records and documentation in accordance with company and statutory requirements.</li><li>Provide administrative support to the Finance function and assist the wider business with ad hoc finance and reporting activities as required.<br> </li></ul><p><b>Qualifications & Experience</b></p><br><ul><li>University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.</li><li>Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).</li><li>5-10 years' experience in a similar Accounting/Finance role, preferably within a multinational company.</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>Practical experience with month-end closing, VAT/tax compliance and audit support.</li><li>Experience with internal controls and SOX compliance is strongly preferred.</li><li>Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with ERP systems (preferably Oracle).</li><li>High level of accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.</li><li>Proactive, dependable and comfortable working across different areas of the Finance function.</li><li>Excellent written and spoken English.<br> </li></ul><p><b>Place of Work</b></p><br><ul><li>Manama, Bahrain</li></ul> </div>
