<p><h4>Role summary</h4>
<p>The senior MEP quantity surveyor is responsible for managing all commercial and contractual aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works across multiple construction projects. The role ensures accurate quantity take-offs, preparation of valuations, variation claims, cost control, subcontractor management, and commercial reporting while supporting the successful financial delivery of projects. The incumbent will work closely with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors to maximize project profitability and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.</p>
<h4>Key responsibilities</h4>
<li>Prepare, evaluate, and submit monthly interim valuations and supporting documentation in accordance with contract requirements.</li>
<li>Carry out detailed quantity take-offs for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works from drawings and project specifications.</li>
<li>Prepare, submit, negotiate, and finalize variation claims, ensuring proper documentation and timely approval.</li>
<li>Attend commercial meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to discuss, negotiate, and close valuations, variations, and commercial matters.</li>
<li>Assess, review, and certify subcontractor valuations, variation claims, and payment applications in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Maintain and update commercial logs, including valuation registers, variation logs, bonds, guarantees, payment records, and contractual correspondence.</li>

<h4>Qualifications, skills & experience</h4>
<li>Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.</li>
<li>Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, with significant experience in MEP works for large-scale building or infrastructure projects.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction methodologies, quantity measurement, and cost management.</li>
<li>Proven experience in preparing valuations, variation claims, final accounts, and subcontractor commercial management.</li>
<li>Sound understanding of construction contracts, including FIDIC and other standard forms of contract.</li>
<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity surveying software; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.</li>

<p>Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the maintenance manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel. By overseeing all maintenance activities, leading and managing a team of technicians as well as maintaining the highest standard of safety and quality, the maintenance manager s job directly contributes to the enhancement of the guest experience and upholding the hotel s reputation.</p><ul><li>Oversee and complete all general maintenance in a timely and efficient manner</li><li>Responsible for developing and overseeing a preventative maintenance plan for the Property, revising where necessary and conducting regular checks on all operating assist in improving the efficiency of repairs and maintenance to maintain acceptable costs and high standards.</li><li>Conduct general inspections of the Property, recording the condition of property, plant and equipment and fixtures and fittings</li><li>Ensure all chargeable and non-chargeable works are reported</li><li>Monitoring and maintaining Department expenses (including wages), ensuring the Department is operating in a way that maximises profitability and within budgetary guidelines</li><li>Record the costs of repairs done by maintenance personnel and contractors accurately</li><li>Plans regular maintenance and up-keep of all equipment and keeps accurate records, responsible for managing all planned maintenance projects</li><li>Prioritises tasks according to urgency and importance</li><li>Oversee waste management at the Property, ensuring waste is removed at acceptable intervals</li><li>Ensure that maintenance stores are kept at the required par stock level.</li><li>Order stock as required and in a timely manner, liaising with suppliers to negotiate rates</li><li>Keep well informed regarding new trends, products and ideas that may benefit the operation.</li><li>Assist in the formulation and development and implementation of new standards and services as needed</li><li>Participate in scheduled training and development provided by Accor to improve self and department standards</li><li>Attend Departmental and Body Corporate meetings as required</li><li>Compile reports as required</li><li>General public area cleaning duties, gardening assessing training needs and develops departmental training plans and succession plans.</li><li>Initiates, executes and/or monitors training of his/her colleagues for engineering matters.</li><li>Conducts annual appraisals for his/her assistant & technical staff and produces a development and training plan for the staff.</li><li>Identifies employees with potential for promotion and/or transfer and makes appropriate development plans for him or her together with the Talent and Culture Department.</li><li>Assists and co-ordinates together with the Security
