The intern receives real-world work, and is expected to add value to their teams during their time at Citi.<br></p><br><p><b>What you’ll do:</b></p><br><ul><li><p>Applies a fundamental understanding of current programming, multi-threading, and familiarity with basic concepts of relational databases as well as working knowledge of either Java or C# to design and build technology software solutions to meet business requirements.</p><br></li><li><p>Swiftly troubleshoot problems and provide solutions to front-line businesses in a dynamic and fast-paced environment by utilizing an understanding of the capital markets and your technical skills.</p><br></li><li><p>Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.</p><br></li></ul><p><b>What we’ll need from you:</b></p><br><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; Computer Engineering; Management Information Systems; or other relevant degree;</p><br></li><li><p>A dedication to learning and a true passion for technology and business</p><br></li><li><p>Commitment to personal growth and career development; a desire to learn; and success in team environments</p><br></li><li><p>Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills</p><br></li><li><p>Desire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industry</p><br></li><li><p>Commitment to integrity ethical decision-making</p><br></li></ul><p><b>What we can offer you:</b></p><br><p>By joining this program at Citi Bahrain, you will not only be part of a financial institution that provides you with a world-class learning opportunity and global exposure, but also a casual workplace with a hybrid working model (up to 2 days working at home per week).</p><br><p>Alongside that, Citi is committed to ensuring our workplace is where everyone feels comfortable coming to work as their whole self every day.
