Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fine-dining setting
- Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality of food
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to coordinate food preparation and service
- Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering of supplies
Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
- Basic culinary skills and understanding of various cooking methods
Desired Experience:
Minimum of 4 years to maximum of 10 years of experience in culinary roles, preferably in fine-dining establishments
