<p><h4>Position summary</h4>
<p>Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps. Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard. Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry-cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts. Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in load. Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load. Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine. Maintain accurate records of items laundered.</p>
<p>Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.</p>
<p>Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. <p>Complete inventory of uniforms and linens. Conduct monthly inventory of laundry supplies. Report faulty equipment, maintenance needs, and safety hazards to manager/supervisor. Train employees on all laundry procedures, including safety procedures and equipment operation. Verify that laundry requests are completed for each department as needed. <h4>Overview of the role</h4>
<p>The Sales Assistant is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience, and for a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team.</p>
<h4>What you will do</h4>

<li><strong>Store safety</strong><br>
Creates a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.</li>
<li><strong>Excellent customer service</strong><br>
Creates a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to the dress code.<br>
Greets customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and a sincere non-business-like greeting.<br>
Provides customers with current, relevant information about the product.<br>
Sincerely thank all customers for shopping as they exit the store and invite them back.</li>
<li><strong>Quality</strong><br>
Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers promptly, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to add on to the sale.</li>
<li><strong>Administrative</strong><br>
Provides efficient service at the cash wrap, offers gift cards, maintains cash wrap cleanliness, and captures customer information in the database.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Required skills to be successful</h4>
<ul>
<li>Extensive experience in sales, marketing and operations and working in the retail/brand management industry specifically in fashion.</li>
<li>Sound in-depth knowledge of the market, brand positioning and trends.</li>
<li>An understanding of the current economic situation impacts of potential threats and competitors.</li>
</ul>
<h4>What equips you for the role</h4>
<p><strong>Minimum qualification and knowledge:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Education:</strong> High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li><strong>Minimum experience:</strong> Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Job-specific/technical skills required to complete the tasks:</strong></p>

<li>Good verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Some heavy lifting</li>
<li>Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours</li>
