Executive Chef - 5 Star Hotel

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the culinary team in a 5-star hotel to ensure high-quality food production and service
  • Develop and create innovative food menus that meet the standards and expectations of the guests
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and consistency
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Manage food and labor costs to meet budget targets
  • Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events and menu promotions
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth


Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in a 5-star hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant
  • Knowledge of international cuisines and culinary trends
  • Experience in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management
