Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the culinary team in a 5-star hotel to ensure high-quality food production and service
- Develop and create innovative food menus that meet the standards and expectations of the guests
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and consistency
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage food and labor costs to meet budget targets
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events and menu promotions
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth
Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience working in a 5-star hotel or Michelin-starred restaurant
- Knowledge of international cuisines and culinary trends
- Experience in menu planning, cost control, and inventory management
