Job Details

*Key Responsibilities:



- Audit Performance Monitoring:
Track and report on key audit KPIs: delivery timelines, survey completion, quality assurance, root cause analysis, and training.
Maintain and update dashboards using tools like Power BI and Microsoft Excel.



- Management Action Tracking
Monitor and report closure of agreed management actions from monthly meetings and audit committee reviews.
 


- Strategic Initiative Support


Track progress of key GIA initiatives and prepare summary reports for leadership and stakeholders.



- Stakeholder Engagement & Scheduling
Manage the Group Head of Audit’s schedule with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate logistics for meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing events.



- Audit Execution Support
Participate in select audit fieldwork under supervision, including documentation, evidence gathering, and reporting.
Support audit teams with administrative and analytical tasks during audit cycles.
 


- Data Analytics & Visualization
Use tools such as Power BI, Excel, and Teammate Analytics to support audit testing and reporting.
Create visualizations and dashboards to enhance audit insights.



-Training & Development
Be open and willing to learn new tools and methodologies including data analytics, Power BI, and Teammate.
Engage in structured training to build foundational knowledge in internal audit and analytics.
Take feedback constructively and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.



-Operational Coordination & Financial Processing
Track Internal Tender and Auctions Committee (ITAC) submissions.
Review and process petty cash and third-party invoices for audit services.
Liaise with Heads of Audit at Bapco Refining (BR), Bapco Upstream (BU), and Bapco Tazweed (BT) to coordinate function-wide activities.



*Key Attributes



- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Power BI for tracking and reporting.
- Curiosity and openness to learning new tools and audit methodologies.
- Willingness to participate in audit fieldwork and contribute to audit delivery.
- Receptiveness to feedback and ability to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination.
