Job Description:
The Inventory Manager keeps track of stock, making sure records are accurate and managing inventory levels. He or she works on improving inventory processes to help things run smoothly. This job needs someone who pays attention to detail and is good at analyzing data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Control: Keep track of stock to make sure the right amount is available without overstocking.
- Data Management: Analyze inventory data to predict needs, monitor performance, and find trends.
- Stock Audits: Perform regular checks on inventory to make sure records are correct and fix any mistakes.
- Supplier Coordination: Work with suppliers to manage order times, restocking levels, and inventory needs.
- Process Improvement: Create and use best practices for managing, storing, and tracking inventory.
- Team Leadership: Train and oversee inventory staff, ensuring they follow company policies.
- Compliance: Ensure all inventory activities meet health, safety, and company regulations.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to make sure stock levels align with business needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Reporting Relationship:
- Reports to the Operations Manager and the VP for Admin & Finance.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications are a plus.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience in inventory management or related roles.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques.
- Understanding of purchasing processes.
- Ability to match stock counts with data.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and basic office skills.
Behavioral Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
Experience of working in these countries: Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates will be a massive plus.
