Amana Healthcare, brought to you by M42 and Mumtalakat, is pleased to announce the first Amana Healthcare facility in Bahrain, located in Al Jasra will open in late 2025. This world-class hospital will provide long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation services.


Amana Healthcare provides long-term care for adult patients with complex medical needs in an inpatient setting. Multidisciplinary care will be provided through intensive care unit (ICU) physicians, geriatricians, nurses, therapists, and a patient & family experience team who work collaboratively to enhance the quality of life for those patients. It also offers specialised rehabilitation for individuals who require inpatient rehabilitation following a life-altering event, such as stroke, brain injury, spine injury, joint replacement, or amputation.


Job Overview


This position involves evaluating patients referred for physiotherapy, developing and implementing personalized therapeutic programs, and monitoring patient progress and response to treatment. The role requires a solid understanding of clinical knowledge relevant to the specific area of practice, recognizing one's role within the patient's care plan, and demonstrating expertise in anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based physiotherapy practices across all age groups.


Clinical & Operational Responsibilities

  • Interpret referrals, evaluate patients, and diagnose physical and psychological needs.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans with patient-centered goals.
  • Ensure patients understand and consent to treatment before therapy begins.
  • Monitor progress using standardized measures and adjust treatments as needed.
  • Perform risk assessments and follow safety protocols during therapy sessions.
  • Promote patient self-management and health education to enhance well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle related administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with care teams and ensure appropriate equipment is available.
  • Foster teamwork and align actions with organizational values.
  • Deliver personalized, compassionate care and apply evidence-based practices for improvement.



Qualifications

Education

  • BSc in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy


Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of continuous experience post qualification in the physiotherapy and rehabilitation field
