Position: Marketing & Social Media Executive - Al Aali Mall

Location: Bahrain

Reports To: Mall General Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time


Position Overview:


The Marketing & Social Media Executive will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing the marketing strategies that drive footfall, enhance the shopping experience, and increase overall sales and brand visibility of the shopping mall. This role requires a dynamic, creative, and tech-savvy individual with expertise in digital marketing, social media management, graphic design, and video editing. Proficiency in Arabic (written) is highly desirable, though not essential.


Key Responsibilities:


• Marketing Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the mall’s brand, events, and retail offerings.

• Collaborate with the Mall Management team to align marketing initiatives with business goals and tenant needs.

• Analyze market trends and customer behavior to adjust marketing strategies accordingly.

• Digital Marketing & Social Media:

• Manage the mall’s digital presence, including website content, email marketing campaigns, and social media platforms.

• Create and curate engaging content for social media to drive customer engagement and brand awareness.

• Develop and execute digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads) to drive traffic to the mall.

• Event, Promotion & PR Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute promotional events, sales campaigns, and seasonal activities in the mall, generating positive PR from the activity, helping to drive customer traffic to the Mall.

• Work closely with tenants to promote their offerings through joint marketing efforts.

• Graphic Design & Content Creation:

• Design promotional materials, including posters, banners, digital ads, and social media graphics.

• Create basic video content for promotional use, ensuring it aligns with the mall’s brand identity.

• Analytics & Reporting:

• Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights.

• Provide regular reports on marketing activities, campaign performance, and ROI to the management team.

• Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

• Liaise with external vendors, such as advertising agencies, designers, and printers, to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants to ensure their active participation in mall promotions.

• Budget Management:

• Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficient use of resources while maximizing impact.


Key Qualifications:


• Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the retail or shopping mall industry.

• Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.

• Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and basic video editing tools.

• Skills:

• Proficiency in social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Ads, SEO, and email marketing.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Arabic (written) is a strong advantage.

• Familiarity with social media scheduling software and tools.
