About the Job: 

We are currently seeking for an Associate Director of Sales to join Jumeirah family!  In this role, you will implement sales strategies and initiatives designed to enhance market share and attract business to the Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Resort & Spa from key source markets. You will focus on achieving annual financial room revenue targets, specifically targeting corporate clients, groups, and events, while contributing to the overall sales and marketing strategy as a commercial leader. Additionally, you will manage key accounts and pursue new business development within specified market segments and geographic areas, ensuring that all business development activities are aligned with Jumeirah’s Brand Standards and accurately documented in Jumeirah’s Connect system, "Sales Force." 

The main duties and responsibilities of this role: 

  • Set the strategies along with the DOSM and implementing sales activities in order to drive business from main feeder markets Bahrain & Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and achieve the financial goals.
  • Conduct 15 face to face sales calls and at least 20 telesales weekly recorded into Salesforce.
  • Effectively manage and develop the respective key accounts and achieve the set revenue targets of managed accounts.
  • Monitoring market trends, collecting and sharing market intelligence with the team and the management.
  • Develop annual Corporate & MICE strategy supporting overall hotel’s Commercial Plan aimed to deliver financial targets.
  • Establish annual revenue targets per team member and account and utilize as measurement tool.
