1.    Role Purpose

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing and executing accurate payroll processes for all Delivery Point employees. This role ensures compliance with labor laws, company policies, and financial regulations while supporting operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.

2.    Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Processing:
  • Collect, verify, and process employee attendance and overtime records.
  • Calculate salaries, allowances, deductions, and benefits accurately.
  • Ensure timely salary disbursement in line with company schedules.


  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Maintain payroll records in compliance with Bahrain labor law and company policies.
  • Prepare reports for statutory requirements (e.g., social insurance, tax filings).
  • Support audits and provide payroll-related documentation when required.


  • Employee Support:
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding salary, deductions, and benefits.
  • Provide clear explanations of payroll policies and resolve discrepancies.
  • Share monthly pay slips to the employees.

 

  • System & Process Improvement:
  • Recommend improvements to payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, Finance to align payroll with workforce planning.



Skills

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.
  • Proven experience in payroll administration (preferably in logistics or similar industries).
  • Strong knowledge of Bahrain labor law and payroll compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software, Excel, and HRIS systems.
  • High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
