We are seeking a licensed Lawyer to join our organization, and work collaboratively alongside the team and Board of Directors. Ideally we are seeking a candidate with a background in Bahrain court proceedings, general litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution. The successful candidate will be a team player who is able to attend and litigate in court proceedings, provide practical legal advice and support in a fast-paced environment.

To succeed in this role you will be assertive, self-motivated, have a high level attention to detail and superior work ethic, be commercially savvy, and a strong communicator, with technical excellence and a genuine passion for the law.

Main Responsibilities:

·        Demonstrates the requisite trial advocacy skills and knowledge of Bahrain court proceedings.

·        Conducting thorough investigations into legal matters, including performing legal research and analysis and sourcing expert opinion.

·        Drafting and filing pleadings with the appropriate bodies

·        Draft litigation pathways and legal arguments, and attend court hearings

·        Attend mediation hearings and settlement conferences.

·        Prepare, amend and negotiate contracts, legislative agreements, and other legal documentation

·        Litigation and Provides factually, legally and analytically supported advice referring to Bahrain Law.

·        Demonstrates consistent awareness of changes to local and relevant international law, technology, local rules and other procedural requirements

·        Provide legal advice to departments, and ensure alignment with policies & procedures

·        Corresponds with regulators, and ensures compliance.

·        Review and advise on corporate governance matters.

·        Draft Minutes of Meetings.

·        Provide secretarial work for the Board of Directors

Requirements:

·        Bachelor's degree in Law

·        Licensed to practice Law in Bahrain

·        Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Lawyer in Bahrain courts

·        Excellent written and communication skills.

·        Good command in English and Arabic
