Position Title: Storekeeper

Job Summary
The storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the storage area is organized, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining accurate records of goods received and dispatched. The role ensures the efficient and secure storage of materials, supplies, and products while supporting the organization's overall operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock-in and stock-out.
• Perform regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor and report on inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
2. Receiving and Dispatching Goods
• Inspect incoming deliveries for quantity, quality, and compliance with PO.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of received goods.
• Prepare goods for dispatch in an organized and timely manner.
3. Storage and Organization
• Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and secure.
• Implement proper storage techniques to prevent damage or spoilage.
• Arrange materials systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
4. Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain updated logs of inventory movements.
• Prepare and submit reports on stock levels, damages, or discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations in all transactions.
5. Safety and Maintenance
• Follow and enforce safety protocols in the storage area.
• Identify and address potential hazards or equipment issues.
6. Collaboration and Coordination
• Work closely with procurement, logistics, and operations teams.
• Support periodic inventory checks and audits conducted by external teams.
Qualifications
• Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Previous experience in inventory management or warehousing.
