We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team immediately and help us maintain accurate financial records as we continue to grow.

Job Description:

As an Accountant at Monerti, you will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions, maintaining financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will work closely with our finance and management teams to provide accurate financial insights, manage bookkeeping, and contribute to strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare tax filings and liaise with tax authorities as needed.
• Provide financial insights to the management team for decision-making.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an accountant, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with property management accounting is a plus.
• Must be able to join immediately (not serving a notice period with a current company).
