Job Purpose:
The Regional Corridors Origination Team caters to the leading Regional corporations with operations across the ME region & rest of Mashreq’s foot print countries . Our team consists of highly motivated individuals who are responsible for marketing and cross selling the full suite of wholesale banking products: financing, cash management, trade & trade finance, FX and derivatives solutions. Our team is responsible for orchestrating tailored client solutions, operates across a wide range of industries and has a global mandate.
Key Result Areas:
- Business development, client acquisition, relationship building and cross-sell across a wide range of products: structured financing solutions, trade, trade finance, cash management & liquidity, FX and derivatives solutions, retail and private bank
- Understanding clients’ agenda and becoming trusted advisor by offering insights and tailoring solutions to address their strategic priorities
- Structuring credit facilities and exercising sound risk judgment, while ensuring that returns and profitability hurdles are met
- Co-ordinating with the various departments (coverage sectors, products, risk, legal, operations, etc), and across geographies, the delivery of bespoke client solutions in an efficient timeframe
- Driving the client onboarding strategy: solutioning, pricing discussions, facilities structuring, documentation negotiation, overseeing transactions execution and account opening
- Ultimate owner of KYC and AML responsibilities, and ability to exercise prudent judgment and safeguard compliance with internal policies, rules and regulations
- Supporting new business development initiatives in order to expand our scope and generate new revenue streams

- We are looking for highly motivated individual to join a diverse team, drive business origination and deliver results having more than 10 years of Banking experience mainly in the Bahraini & Saudi Markets market.
- An in-depth knowledge of wholesale banking products, industry expertise and prior relative experience in a global Financial Institution are a requirement for the role.
- Sound credit knowledge, understanding or market dynamics and ability to reach balanced credit decisions are important
- Knowledge of the Middle East corridors and prior relative experience are a must.
