Looking for a Procurement Officer to be based in Bahrain with experience in construction field.
Responsibilities:
- Find and research qualified suppliers for goods & services.
- Negotiate contracts to secure the best terms (price, delivery, payment).
- Create & manage purchase orders outlining product details, quantities & timelines.
- Track inventory to ensure timely procurement and avoid stockouts.
- Process invoices and payments according to agreed-upon terms.
- Ensure compliance with company policies & external regulations.
- Manage procurement risks (delays, quality issues, price fluctuations).
- Collaborate with internal departments on procurement needs.
Requirements:
- Preferably, the candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in Construction/Industrial Services.
- Proficient in negotiation, contract management, tender preparation, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with local suppliers of construction and industrial materials and equipment in Bahrain.
