About the Job:
We are currently seeking for a Duty Manager to join Jumeirah family! You will support in ensuring smooth and efficient operation at the front office.
Duties and responsibilities of this role:
- To ensure smooth and efficient running of the hotel operation especially the front office department.
- To handle and resolve guest complaints.
- To assist the Assistant Front Office Manager in supervising the Front Office Departments operation and communication.
- To assist in maintaining and / or develop agreed standards consistently within the Front Office department.
- To assist in maintaining and / or develop agreed operating procedures involved in the Front Office and to ensure that front office colleagues adhere to the correct procedures as laid down in the operating manual.
- To set a high example in regard to punctuality, appearance, performance, attitude, leadership, guest relations, observance of the house rules, loyalty to the management and interdepartmental cooperation.
- The Manager on Duty keeps very close relations with all VIP guest in and out of the house and responds accordingly to all needs and demands.
- Covering as Night Manager for vacation and days off as and when required.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree equivalent Hotel related education
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in luxury hotel.
- At least 2 years’ experience in hotel leadership.
- Experience in working with culturally diverse workforce
- Arabic Speaker is highly desirable
