Procurement Officer to be based in Bahrain.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Find and research qualified suppliers for goods & services.
- Negotiate contracts to secure the best terms (price, delivery, payment).
- Create & manage purchase orders outlining product details, quantities & timelines.
- Track inventory to ensure timely procurement and avoid stockouts.
- Process invoices and payments according to agreed-upon terms.
- Obtain competitive bids for cost-effective purchasing.
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies & external regulations.
- Manage procurement risks (delays, quality issues, price fluctuations).
- Maintain accurate documentation for all procurement activities.
- Stay informed about market trends & relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with internal departments on procurement needs.
Qualification & Requirements:
- Possession of a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or an equivalent field.
- Must be currently residing in Bahrain or have prior experience working in Bahrain.
- Preferably, the candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in Construction/Industrial Services.
- Proficient in negotiation, contract management, tender preparation, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with local suppliers of construction and industrial materials and equipment in Bahrain.
- Capable of working well under pressure.
- Available to work six days a week.
- Agreed for background check
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: BD400.000 - BD500.000 per month
