Program Summary

KBR's Exploration & Logistics division delivers full life cycle professional and technical solutions that improve operational readiness and drive innovation. Our solutions help ensure mission success on land, air, sea, space and cyberspace for the Department of Defense, intelligence community, NASA, and other federal agencies. KBR’s areas of expertise include engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT and cybersecurity.

KBR provides Contingency Base Operations, Stabilization, and Infrastructure support services under Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain, UAE, Oman, and related task orders.

Job Summary

KBR is seeking a Licensed Electrician who installs, maintains, repairs, and inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components in residential, commercial, or industrial environments in accordance with applicable codes. The electrician will read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical specifications to execute installation as well as electrical maintenance activities. This will include wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components to support system functionality.

**This will be an onsite position with fulltime deployment to NSA Bahrain in Manama, Bahrain.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components.

  
  
  

• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to diagnose electrical issues and implement corrective action to restore proper system operation.

  
  
  

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to enhance system reliability and reduce downtime.

  
  
  

• Coordinate the use of materials, tools, and equipment required for job execution and maintain work areas in a clean and organized condition.

  
  
  

• Maintain tools, equipment, and accurate work records installations, inspections, and repairs.

  
  
  

• Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

  
  
  

• May provide guidance or support to apprentices or junior electricians as needed.

  
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.

  
  
  

• High school diploma or equivalent.

  
  
  

• Valid electrician license (as required by jurisdiction).

  
  
  

• Minimum 2-5 years of related electrical experience.

  
  
  

• Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices.

  
  
  

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
