Experience required
- Proven expertise in the field of migrant protection and counter-trafficking/addressing transnational organized crime
- Experience in capacity building and delivering trainings
- Experience in developing capacity building and training material for stakeholders.
Education and/or skills required
Master s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Migration Studies, International Relations and/or Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience
Develop 3 training modules on counter-trafficking targeted for law enforcement officials (border management officials) and private sector. These modules contribute to frontline officials having increased capacity to identify and refer victims of trafficking and enhanced understanding on protection of potential and actual victims of trafficking in persons.
Develop a training programme based on existing core modules and train a pool of interpreters who work directly with potential and actual victims of trafficking in persons.
Work with IOM colleagues to support and coordinate the development of e-learning modules on counter-trafficking, based off pre-existing core modules, in both English and Arabic.
Deliver capacity building to Government officials and other stakeholders including awareness raising sessions based on existing and developed modules
Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
