Roles & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide a professional, attentive and efficient service, proactively engaging customers and aiming to exceed expectations.
  • Process all sales transactions quickly and accurately, in line with company's policies, procedures and cash-handling standards.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Drive sales through active customer engagement and effective selling techniques (upselling, cross-selling, substitutions and add-on sales).
  • Support product receiving activities, as required, including checking deliveries and moving stock to the appropriate locations.
  • Position promotional signage correctly and maintain displays in line with current campaigns.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 3 years customer-facing experience.
  • Minimum education: High school certificate; Mathematics and English certificates are essential.
  • Experience using a cash register/POS system and handling cash accurately.
  • A customer service qualification is an advantage.
