Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide a professional, attentive and efficient service, proactively engaging customers and aiming to exceed expectations.
- Process all sales transactions quickly and accurately, in line with company's policies, procedures and cash-handling standards.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Drive sales through active customer engagement and effective selling techniques (upselling, cross-selling, substitutions and add-on sales).
- Support product receiving activities, as required, including checking deliveries and moving stock to the appropriate locations.
- Position promotional signage correctly and maintain displays in line with current campaigns.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 1 3 years customer-facing experience.
- Minimum education: High school certificate; Mathematics and English certificates are essential.
- Experience using a cash register/POS system and handling cash accurately.
- A customer service qualification is an advantage.
