Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct simulations and analyses using CAD software to predict product performance and identify potential design flaws before prototyping.
• Lead projects from concept through production, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
• Evaluate and select materials for projects by assessing their mechanical properties, cost, and availability, while considering environmental impact.
• Implement and maintain quality control processes, ensuring products are tested and certified according to regulatory requirements.
• Utilize advanced manufacturing techniques, including additive manufacturing and CNC machining, to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues in existing products and systems, providing immediate solutions and long-term improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and user manuals, that clearly communicate design intent and operational guidelines.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, actively participating in professional development to enhance engineering knowledge and skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials science.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or working towards one, demonstrating commitment to ethical practices and professional development.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in mechanical design or product development, preferably in the automotive or aerospace industries.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, with the ability to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in conducting simulations and performance testing to validate design concepts.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
