Roles & Responsibilities
Supervises Textbook Review Process: All K - 12 books
Monitor, Update, Align Curriculum: All subjects: Middle School & High School
- Atlas: Monitors (in collaboration with Principals, VPs, HODs) the input of lesson plans, curricula documents, assessments
- Facilitates Curricula Vertical & Horizontal alignment for core subjects
- Facilitate data review of internal and external assessments
- Facilitates proper design and review of annual plans and lesson plans
- Create and revise curriculum and teaching policies
Instructional Coach: Middle & High School
- Work closely with HOD s, Principals, VPs, and the Quality Assurance specialist to enforce school lesson implementation expectations
- Collaborate with the Student Support Coordinator to ensure proper alignment of instruction with our Tier 2 and 3 students.
- Professional development for teachers on best instructional best practices
- Co-teaching with teachers to model instructional best practices
- Collaborate and mentor the Instructional coaches from Elementary school to develop unified practices
- Monitoring of lessons plans, assessments, and curricular documents
- Monitoring of lesson implementation to include informal observations and coaching
- Review of Assessments for tiered questioning and activities
- Improve capacity of HODs to further train their departments
- Collaborate with core academic departments to design fun activities that augment instruction outside of the regular classroom
- Other duties as assigned by School Management
