Role Overview
The Factory Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aluminium manufacturing operations within the factory, ensuring operational efficiency, output quality, and full compliance with delivery timelines.
The role covers all stages of aluminium manufacturing — including cutting and forming profiles, assembly, glass and facade systems, and finishing — as well as coordinating with installation teams to ensure projects are executed to the highest standard of precision and quality.
The goal is to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs and waste, and drive continuous improvement in line with Alumar's standards of professional, high-quality execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Management
- Plan and oversee all aluminium production operations (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Manage and monitor manufacturing stages including cutting and forming aluminium profiles, assembly and installation preparation, glass and facade systems
- Ensure production targets are met in line with technical specifications and delivery deadlines
- Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and improve operational efficiency
- Manage resources (labour, equipment, materials) to maximise productivity
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure continuous availability of raw materials
- Track KPIs including productivity, efficiency, waste reduction, and on-time delivery
2. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, train, and supervise factory teams and technicians
- Build a high-performance, disciplined, and professional work environment
- Evaluate employee performance and identify training and development needs
- Ensure production goals and directives are clearly communicated to all teams
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
3. Quality & Process Control
- Ensure all aluminium products meet technical specifications and quality standards
- Collaborate with quality control teams to detect and resolve defects
- Apply strict oversight across all manufacturing and finishing stages
- Comply with relevant industry standards (e.g. ISO and facade system standards)
- Minimise errors, rework, and material waste
4. Safety & Risk Management
- Enforce health and safety standards across all aluminium manufacturing operations
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and the work environment
- Ensure safe handling of materials, equipment, and glass
- Investigate incidents or potential hazards and implement preventive measures
5. Operations & Cross-Department Integration
- Use ERP systems to manage production, inventory, and operational reporting
- Coordinate consistently with design, sales, and installation teams
- Ensure drawings and designs align with actual factory execution
- Monitor inventory levels and material flow to prevent production delays
- Improve operational efficiency based on data and reports

Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in aluminium manufacturing and factory production management
- Candidates with less than 10 years of experience will not be considered
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bahrain: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Technical Skills
- Aluminium extrusion or profile manufacturing processes
- CNC machinery, cutting, and forming equipment operation
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and production specs
- Knowledge of aluminium alloys, grades, and surface treatments (anodizing, powder coating)
- Production planning and scheduling (MRP/ERP systems)
- Quality control and ISO standards compliance
Management Skills
- Factory floor supervision and shift management
- Workforce planning and team leadership (50+ employees preferred)
- KPI setting and performance monitoring
- Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma / continuous improvement methodologies
- Budget and cost control for production operations
- Procurement coordination and inventory management
Industry & Regional Experience
- Minimum 7–10 years in aluminium or metal manufacturing
- Prior GCC or Middle East factory experience preferred
- Familiarity with GCC building standards and supply chain
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving under production pressure
- Excellent communication across multicultural teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
